Shoppers rejoice! The country’s leading shopping destination SM Supermalls has recently partnered with Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing platform, Grab.

With this partnership, shopping fanatics can ride to and from their favorite SM Supermall conveniently and without hassle. By just downloading the SM Supermalls mobile app and Grab app, riders will be able to redeem any of the 5,000 remaining coupons from Grab since the promo kicked off last April 3.

Three free GrabCar rides (up to Php 300 per trip) await new Grab users who sign up for a Grab account and download the SM Supermalls mobile app. After doing this, they will receive a unique promo code for GrabCar sedan, 6-seater and Premium rides valid for three months.

The fun doesn’t stop there as Grab will also be giving away 50 percent discounts (up to ₱150 per trip) on GrabShare rides for existing Grab users. Riders will just have to download the SM Supermalls mobile app. This promo will be valid for one month and the same mechanics apply.

“Being the official transportation partner of SM Supermalls is an important step for us at Grab. We are dedicated to providing Filipinos with convenient and safe transportation wherever they are going. This partnership shows that like SM, we aim to provide everything Pinoys need,” Brian Cu, Grab Philippines country head said.

The partnership between Grab and SM Supermalls was inked last March 22, which made Grab the official transportation provider of the SM Supermall app. The Grab app is now integrated and can be accessed through the SM Supermall app.

Grab continues to innovate and forge partnerships with various brands since its introduction in the country in 2012. From initially launching GrabTaxi, Grab added GrabCar, a service that gave Filipinos all the perks of car ownership without the hassles that come along with it. GrabExpress was also introduced for those who are in need of instant transport of their goods. Grab also has their ride-sharing feature, GrabShare which allows two maximum stops per trip for one or two passengers.

Grab also actively participated in various Filipino celebrations like Chinese New Year where Grab launched a GrabCNY food truck, Valentine’s Day with its GrabBae promo, and most recently innovating one of the quintessential Pinoy vehicles through GrabTricycle in the Pioneer area in Mandaluyong.
