Users in Singapore can use their Grab app to instantly send you money. Here’s how it works:
- Sender tops up GrabPay balance using debit card or PayNow
- Sender taps on ‘Transfer Overseas’ in the Payment page
- Sender enters transfer amount. He/she will be shown exactly how much you will receive in PHP
- Sender chooses your account from his/her address book or enter your mobile number
- Sender taps on Send and you’ll receive the money within minutes.
In most cases, the transfer will be instant, but it may take up to 5 minutes for you to receive the money in your GrabPay Wallet.
No, there are no fees associated with sending the money or transferring the money you receive to your bank account.
You will receive the money in your GrabPay Wallet, which you can use for various Grab services. You can also transfer it to your bank account free of charge.
For BDO customers, your transfer will be posted to your bank account within 3 hours.
For non-BDO customers, your transfer will be posted to your bank account:
