At Grab, we’re constantly looking for ways to make your experience with us feel safer.


That’s why we’re happy to introduce the new 6-digit GrabPay PIN. Just set it up once, and you can carry on riding with peace of mind. This way, your GrabPay credits are just as safe as you are, every time you ride.

What’s more, you’ll no longer need to re-enter your credit card details every time you use GrabPay. You will also be required to verify your email, so if you forget your PIN, we’ll be able to help restore your account.


If you have more than 200.000vnđ worth of credits in your GrabPay account, it is mandatory for you to create a PIN. If you have less than 200.000vnđ worth of credits in your GrabPay account, the PIN is not mandatory. Anytime you want to set it up, just go to the side menu in your Grab app, and select ‘Settings’.

Once created, you will be prompted for your PIN:


  • Every 72 hours

  • When your app detects you’re in an unusual location

How to set up your GrabPay PIN:

    When prompted, click on the setup button

  2. Step 2

    Enter your preferred 6-digit PIN

  3. Step 3

    Verify your email

  4. Step 4

    Your GrabPay payments are now more secure!
