Thực hiện nghiêm túc Chỉ thị 16/CT-TTg của Thủ tướng Chính phủ ban hành ngày 31/03/2020, Công văn 3064/BGTVT-VT ban hành cùng ngày của Bộ GTVT, và Công văn của cơ quan chức năng một số tỉnh, thành phố, Grab tạm dừng cung cấp một số dịch vụ như sau:
- Toàn bộ các dịch vụ vận chuyển 4 bánh (GrabCar, GrabCar Plus, GrabCar Doanh nghiệp, Grab Tỉnh/Grab Tuyến, JustGrab, GrabTaxi, GrabRent) tại tất cả các tỉnh, thành phố từ 0h ngày 01/04/2020 đến hết ngày 15/04/2020.
- Dịch vụ giao nhận thức ăn GrabFood tại Đà Nẵng, kể từ 0h ngày 02/04/2020 đến hết ngày 15/04/2020.
Chúng tôi đang phối hợp chặt chẽ cùng các cơ quan chức năng, cũng như làm việc cùng các hợp tác xã vận tải, các đối tác để triển khai việc tạm dừng này và có phương án hỗ trợ phù hợp cũng như duy trì chương trình GrabBenefits cho các đối tác tài xế bị ảnh hưởng.
Việc tạm dừng cung cấp các dịch vụ nêu trên có thể sẽ tạo ra một số bất tiện nhất định cho khách hàng, đối tác tài xế, đối tác nhà hàng, hợp tác xã nhưng vì sự an toàn của khách hàng và vì sự sức khỏe cộng đồng, Grab tin rằng, quyết định này sẽ góp phần vào nỗ lực cùng chung tay phòng chống dịch COVID-19 đang được Chính phủ quyết liệt triển khai.
For cheaper fare, using GrabFood tại các tỉnh, thành phố khác, dịch vụ GrabMart tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh, và dịch vụ GrabExpress trên toàn quốc vẫn được duy trì như bình thường, tiếp tục phục vụ người dùng, góp phần hỗ trợ hoạt động mua sắm trực tuyến theo khuyến nghị của Chính phủ, đồng thời tuân thủ chặt chẽ các khuyến nghị nhằm đảm bảo an toàn từ phía cơ quan chức năng.
Trong thời gian này, Grab tiếp tục đẩy mạnh truyền thông và thực hiện nhiều biện pháp hỗ trợ nhằm đảm bảo sức khỏe, an toàn cho khách hàng và đối tác tài xế. Mới đây, Grab cũng đã công bố gói hỗ trợ lên đến 70 tỷ đồng nhằm đồng hành cùng Chính phủ và hỗ trợ tài chính trực tiếp, giải quyết một phần khó khăn các đối tác tài xế, đối tác nhà hàng trong mùa dịch COVID-19.

Strictly complying with the newly updated regulation (Official Document 16 / CT-TTg from the Vietnamese Government) issued on March 31, 2020; the Ministry of Transport’s Official Letter 3064/BGTVT-VT dated March 31, 2020 and other Authorities, hereby:
- From April 1, 2020 to the end of April 15, 2020, Grab will temporarily suspend all 4 Wheels Services (GrabCar, GrabCar Plus, GrabCar for Business, Grab Tỉnh/Grab Tuyến, JustGrab, GrabTaxi, GrabRent) in all provinces and cities.
- From April 2, 2020 to the end of April 15, 2020, GrabFood in Da Nang will also be temporarily suspended.
We are working closely with the authorities, as well as transport Co-Ops to implement this temporary suspension. In the meantime, Grab still actively provides appropriate support plans for our Driver Partners to minimize the impact on their income. The above-mentioned services will be reopened on the Grab app as soon as the authorities issue a final confirmation.
The temporary suspension of Grab’s listed services may cause inconveniences for our customers, driver partners & transport co-ops. However, putting the safety of our customers, partners & community first, Grab believes this decision will contribute to the joint effort in combating the COVID-19 pandemic together with the public and the Vietnamese Government.
Other services such as GrabFood (at other cities, except Da Nang) GrabMart (at HCMC), GrabExpress (nationwide) are maintained as usual. We will continue to serve you by helping to promote online activities while staying home as recommended by the Government.
In this time of need, Grab will continue to push forth the message of safety and increase support for our partners and the community, clearly communicated via various media channels. Grab recently announced a support package of up to VND 70 billion in order to accompany the Government and provide direct financial support to lift off parts of the difficulties that our driver and restaurant partners are experiencing.
