What is GrabHitch?
GrabHitch is a social carpooling service that enables regular drivers like you and me to give fellow commuters a lift, meet new people, and cover the costs of owning a car.
To make it truly hassle-free, GrabHitch is fully cashless. GrabHitch drivers accept passenger requests through the regular GrabTaxi Passenger App, and do not require commercial insurance or Z10 registration.

What Do You Need To Be A Hitch Driver?
Be 21 years old and above
Possess a valid driver’s license, with at least 1 year’s driving experience
Your own private car with valid auto insurance

How To Get Started

Tell us your regular driving schedule
Key in your start and end locations and schedule into the app under "Create Route"

Get matched to passengers going your way
The app will prompt you of passenger requests along your way via push notification

Accept a passenger request
Before deciding who to Hitch, you may view the passengers' trip details and mutual Facebook friends. Once decided, click 'Accept'!

Give someone a Hitch!
A GPS navigation system will show you where to pick up and drop off your passenger. Remember to click "Drop Off" when the ride is complete!
