Grab users to enter THELASTJEDI in the promo code box whenever they book a ride with Grab to stand a chance to be invited for Grab’s “Final Battle” Event (the “Final Battle Event”) where users will compete against each other for the Rancho Obi-Wan Grand Prize.
Each time the code THELASTJEDI is entered when booking a Grab ride, it will be considered an entry. Grab will select the top 10 riders with the most THELASTJEDI entries to participate in the Final Battle Event (venue to be announced by Grab).
A winner for the Rancho Obi-Wan Grand Prize will be selected at the Final Battle Event.
The Campaign is valid from 27 November 2017 to 13 December 2017 (the “Contest Period”)
The code THELASTJEDI is not a discount code, and is applicable for both cash and GrabPay (debit/credit card). Normal Grab fares will be applicable for the Grab ride.
Valid for all Grab rides in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Baguio, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro and Pampanga and not valid with other promotions; advance booking is not available for this Campaign
The promotion is only successfully redeemed once a relevant in-app and/or SMS message is received (after successfully being allocated a car by the system) and once ride is completed.
At the end of the Contest Period, Grab will contact the top 5 riders from each side (The Resistance / The First Order) with the most THELASTJEDI entries to participate in the Final Battle Event.
If you are one of the 10 riders selected to participate in the Final Battle Event, you hereby consent to the use by Grab and its affiliated companies for an unlimited time, your image, photograph, video (if applicable) for publicity purposes (in any medium), and in advertising, marketing on promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in participating in this Campaign, all participants consent to the same.
The top 10 riders will be asked to go through a series of elimination games and the person last to be eliminated will win the Rancho Obi-Wan Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize winner will receive confirmation via an Official Representative from Grab. The confirmation will be final and no correspondence will be entertained. Verification checks may be conducted in order to claim the Grand Prize.
The promo is organised by MYTAXI.PH, INC., also known as “Grab Philippines” (“the Organiser”) and is open to all Filipino citizens and permanent residents residing in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Baguio, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro and Pampanga. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Campaign:
All employees (both permanent and fixed term contract) of the Organiser and their immediate family members.
By taking part in this Campaign, you have indicated that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. Further, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the foregoing and consent to the use of your personal data as set out above and in accordance with Grab’s Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions below and decisions of the Organiser without limitation or qualification. You further agree that all decisions of the Organiser shall be final and conclusive.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and must be redeemed within a specific time frame which shall be advised by Grab. If the Prize is not redeemed during the specific time frame, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and Grab shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
Grab accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize and not specifically included in the Prize.
Grab reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, this Campaign or its terms of conditions with or without prior notice to you.

At least one winner traveling must be over the age of 18 years.
Winners must be in possession of a valid passport and must have a minimum of 180 days validity for the duration of the prize holiday. All entry visas, Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) forms, and/or travel documents are the sole responsibility of the winner including visa costs if applicable. DJP Marketing & Promotions Ltd. does not arrange entry visas.
All prize winners will receive confirmation that they have won a prize via e-mail and by phone (providing a contact number has been provided) within fourteen days from the Final Battle Event. Verification checks may be conducted in order to claim the Grand Prize.
Personal information about prize winners will be shared with initiator of prize and their agents to the extent necessary for prizes to be delivered to the prize winners.
Winners must provide a copy of their passports to ensure names are spelled correctly and validity of their passports.
Winners must give at least 60 days’ notice prior to their requested departure date.
All prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for any prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable (due to force majeure or prize not being suitable for the winners, etc) DJP Marketing & Promotions Ltd. reserves the right to substitute a prize which it may determine as being of equal value.
The holidays are subject to availability and blackout dates will apply unless specifically pre-arranged prior to the competition being run. Blackout dates include peak Christmas (December 10 to January 5 annually) and may include peak August.
The winners must go within 6 months of winning their holiday. Winners will be requested to provide three separate dates of preferred travel and DJP Marketing & Promotions Ltd. will work towards fulfilling at least one of winner’s preferred date of travel. Winners who do not travel within 6 months will become null and void and no longer entitled to their grand prize
Unless otherwise stated in the package, all other costs including meals and spending money are the responsibility of winner.
Once confirmed in writing, travel dates and names of those traveling are not changeable without incurring extra fees and may not be possible if a non-refundable or non-changeable ticket has been purchased.
Winners must sign a legal acceptance form provided by DJP Marketing & Promotions Ltd. prior to departure as standard procedure.
DJP Marketing & Promotions has offered this grand prize in good faith and the specifics of the grand prize holiday are as stated in original proposal provided to the initiator of promotion.
