InstaPay is an electronic fund transfer service that allows you to transfer money almost instantly between participating banks and other e-wallets.

With InstaPay, you can now cash in to your GrabPay Wallet directly from your banking app or other e-wallets – 24/7, 365 days a year.

InstaPay is governed by the Philippine Payment Management Inc. under the oversight of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

How do I cash in with InstaPay?

Transfer funds from your BDO account to GrabPay

Step 1. Launch your mobile banking app or log in through BDO Personal Banking.

Step 2. Select ‘Send Money’ > ‘To Another Local Bank’ > select ‘GrabPay‘ from the list.

Step 3. Supply the required details.
(Note: Put your Grab-registered mobile number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format as the Account Number destination).

Step 4. Enter the One Time PIN sent to your phone or generate one using your BDO Mobile App’s OTP.

Step 5. Confirm details.

Transferred funds will reflect instantly to your GrabPay Wallet.

Transfer funds from your BPI account to GrabPay

Step 1. On your BPI Mobile app, select ‘Transfers’ > ‘Transfer Money’ > ‘Transfer to another bank.’

Step 2. Select ‘GrabPay’ from the list of banks and supply the required details.
(Note: Put your Grab-registered mobile number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format as the Account Number destination).

Step 3. Confirm the details and enter your Mobile Key or One-Time PIN (OTP) that will be sent to your BPI-registered mobile number.

Transferred funds will reflect instantly to your GrabPay Wallet.

Transfer funds from your AUB account to GrabPay

Step 1. Launch your AUB Mobile App or log in to the AUB Website.

Step 2. Click ‘InstaPay Fund Transfer’.

Step 3. Select your AUB Account to transfer funds from.

Step 4. Select ‘GrabPay’ and supply the required details.
(Note: Put your Grab-registered mobile number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format as the Account Number destination).

Step 5. Review your transaction summary. To complete your transfer of funds, click ‘Confirm’.

Transferred funds will reflect instantly to your GrabPay Wallet.

Transfer funds from your LandBank account to GrabPay

I. Using your LandBank Mobile Banking App

Step 1. On your LandBank Mobile Banking App, tap ‘Transfers’ > ‘Transfer to Other Bank’.

Step 2. Key in the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your mobile number or e-mail address. If enrolled in OTP Generator, click ‘OK’ and submit the OTP generated by your registered device.

Step 3. Select ‘GrabPay‘ as your destination bank and choose ‘InstaPay’ as Transfer Method.

Step 4. Choose the Source Account where the funds will be transferred from. Supply the required details.
(Note: Put your Grab-registered mobile number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format as the Account Number destination)

Step 5. Tap ‘Submit’ and review the details on the ‘Confirmation Page’. Then, click ‘Confirm’.

II. Using your LandBank iAccess

Step 1. Enter your User ID and password to log in.

Step 2. Tap ‘Fund Transfer’ and choose the account from which the funds will be transferred from.

Step 3. Select ‘Transfer to Other Banks’ via Instapay.

Step 4. Select ‘GrabPay‘ as your destination bank. Supply the required details.
(Note: Put your Grab-registered mobile number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format as the Account Number destination)

Step 6. Select your preferred source of OTP – your registered mobile number or e-mail address.

Step 7. On the ‘Confirmation Page’, reveiew the details. Once reviewed, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or e-mail address.

Step 8. Click ‘Confirm’, then ‘OK’.

Transferred funds will reflect instantly to your GrabPay Wallet.

Transfer funds from your Metrobank account to GrabPay

Step 1. On your Metrobank App, click ‘Transfer to Other Bank’ – this is under your profile icon on top left corner.

Step 2. Select ‘InstaPay’. Click ‘Transfer’ and select ‘GrabPay’.

Step 3. Provide the required details.
(Note: Put your Grab-registered mobile number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format as the Account Number destination)

Step 4. Select which Metrobank Account you’d like to transfer funds from. Enter Amount, then click ‘Next’.

Step 5. Review transaction summary. Complete the transfer by clicking ‘Submit’.

Note: Metrobank is offering FREE InstaPay transfers until July 31, 2020 only.

Transferred funds will reflect instantly to your GrabPay Wallet.

Transfer funds from your PNB account to GrabPay

Step 1. On your PNB Mobile Banking app, select ‘Transfer Funds’ (this is on the side menu).

Step 2. Select ‘Other Local Banks – InstaPay’ and choose the account you want to transfer funds from.

Step 3. Select ‘New Payee’ and select ‘GrabPay‘ under Bank.

Step 4.Provide the required details.

Step 5. Enable ‘Save Payee to List’. Review your transaction summary and click ‘Done’.

Step 7. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to you via SMS.

Transfer funds from your RCBC account to GrabPay

I. Using your RCBC Mobile Banking App

Step 1. On your RCBC Online Banking App, select ‘Fund Transfer’ > ‘Bank Transfer’.

Step 2. Select which RCBC account you’d like to transfer funds from.

Step 4. Select ‘GrabPay’. Provide the required details and then tap ‘Proceed’.

Step 5. Select ‘Instapay’ as the Transfer Channel, enter Amount, and click ‘Transfer Now’.

Step 6. Tap ‘Proceed’ to confirm your transaction.

Step 7. Enter the OTP sent to your RCBC-registered mobile number, then tap ‘Submit’.

Transferred funds will reflect instantly to your GrabPay Wallet.

II. Using RCBC Online Banking Website

Step 1. Log in to your RCBC Online Banking account.

Step 2. Click ‘Transfer Funds’ and select the RCBC account you’d like to transfer funds from.

Step 3. Select ‘GrabPay’ and provide the required details. Tap ‘Submit’.

When is it available?

InstaPay cash in is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

How do I cash in with my bank account?

You can easily cash in using your banking account by opening your Grab app > Payment > Cash In > Select “Online Banking” > Select bank then following the on-screen instructions.

How do I cash in with my e-wallet?

You can easily cash in using your e-wallet by opening your Grab app > Payment > Cash In > Select “E-Wallets” > Select e-wallet then following the on-screen instructions.

Are there any fees for cashing in with InstaPay?

While Grab does not charge any fees for this service yet, please check with your bank or e-wallet provider for any fees that might be applied.

Is there a minimum or maximum cash in amount?

You can cash in anywhere between PHP 1 and 100,000 per year. Please note that you can increase your maximum cash in amount to PHP 1,200,000 per year by verifying your identity and upgrading to the Premium wallet. However, there is a limit of PHP 50K per transaction.
