How do I get my free ride?

  1. Download the Grab app from the App Store or Google Play and register your account.
  2. Proceed to the booking screen to select your pick-up and drop-off points.
  3. Choose GrabCar (Sedan) as the vehicle type and choose your payment method (free ride is valid for both cash and credit/debit transactions).
  4. Make sure your drop-off point is WITHIN 5 km to enjoy the free ride! Regular fare will be charged after the 1st 5km.

 

How do I know the distance of the drop-off point?

The distance of the drop-off points can easily be found at the left side of your drop-off options!

    • Since it’s a silent promo, it has to be consecutive trips. You may not choose which trips will avail of the promo.
  3. Do I need to enter a promo code?
    • No promo code needed! Just book GrabCar (Sedan) and the discount will automatically deducted!
  4. Are the free rides only valid in Metro Manila?
    • Free rides are valid in both Metro Manila and Bacolod.
  5. Are all GrabCar services eligible for the promo?
    • Promo is valid for GrabCar (Sedan) only.
  6. Until when are you giving out free rides?
    • Free rides will be from June 12 to June 16
  7. How many discounted rides per passengers?
    • Each new passenger can get up to a total of 5 free rides!
  8. How will I know if my ride is within 5 km?
    • The distance of your trip will be seen when you’re selecting your drop off location. Check out the photo above for awesome visuals!
  9. My trip is within 5 km but I was not discounted, why?
    • The promo is valid for first time users of GrabCar (Sedan) only. 
  10. If my ride is greater than 5 km, do I still get a free ride?
    • For rides greater than 5 km, you get a Php 350 discount off your fare.

  • “GrabCar rides for free” (“the Campaign”) is organised by MyTaxi.Ph, Inc. (“the Organiser”) and is open to NEW GrabCar (Sedan) users.
  • All employees (both permanent and fixed term contract) of the organiser and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this promotion
  • By entering the campaign, you represent you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions of entry and you acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and decisions of the judges and organiser without limitation or qualification. You further agree that all decisions of the organiser shall be final and conclusive.
  • The campaign will run until 16 June 2016. MyTaxi.Ph, Inc. reserves the sole and absolute right to alter or end the contest at any time, without giving prior notice or compensate in cash or in kind.
  • MyTaxi.Ph, Inc. reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify any participant or reject participants deemed ineligible for the campaign (be it under these Terms & Conditions or has engaged in a conduct that the organiser considers inappropriate or unacceptable).
