  • Key in your unit number in the ‘Notes’ section so your driver can find you faster.
  • Top up your GrabPay credits before you order for a smoother checkout.
  • Add your address to ‘Saved Places’ when booking a ride and it’ll show up when you order.
  • Order around 30 minutes before you want to eat so it arrives just in time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still use the current GrabFood app?
Once the new BETA GrabFood experience moves into the main Grab app, everything you need will be in one place. So on May 2 you can delete the standalone GrabFood app and spring clean your homescreen, like you’ve been meaning to.

Will my saved addresses be moved over too?
The places our Grab passengers ride to most often are usually the ones they order food to as well. So now if you add an address to your ‘Saved Places’ when booking a ride, those same addresses will pop up when you want to order food.

What will happen to my GrabFood Subscription Plan?
All the existing rewards that you get with your Subscription Plan will still be available to you inside the ‘MyRewards’ section of the app but it’ll now be even easier for you to use them. When you’re ready to order, you can either look for the food reward and click ‘View’ then ‘Use Now’ to start ordering without needing to apply the promo code again; or you can just click on ‘Add a promo’ during checkout.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
