Safety is very important to us at Grab. Our passengers ride with us because they trust that we can provide them with safe and convenient transportation. As such, we expect all drivers and passengers to behave appropriately and respect boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inappropriate behaviour, especially sexual harassment, has no place on our platform. We should always treat each other with courtesy and avoid<\/span> all forms of disrespect or harassment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

What constitutes sexual harassment?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sexual harassment is a criminal offence in Thailand. It may be in any form of verbal or physical act of a sexual nature, including but not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n

(i) Suggestive comments or jokes;<\/span><\/p>\n

(ii) Continuous personal advances or invitations;<\/span><\/p>\n

(iii) Requests for sexual favours;<\/span><\/p>\n

(iv) Unnecessary physical contact;<\/span><\/p>\n

(vi) Spreading or displaying images with apparent sexual content, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

How does Grab take action?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Action will be taken by Grab against users who do not abide by these rules, this includes suspension from \u00a0our App. \u00a0In addition, Grab will work with the authorities to seek support for the victims.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

How to be a professional Grab Driver<\/b>?<\/span><\/h3>\n

To prevent miscommunication, we encourage all users to be mindful of one another\u2019s privacy and personal space. When in doubt, we recommend that they do the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

(i) <\/span>Be professional.<\/b> Do not use vulgar or abusive language in speech or text.<\/span><\/p>\n

(ii) <\/span>Respect privacy.<\/b> Do not post or share any passenger information on any platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

(iii) <\/span>All booking information are confidential<\/b>. Never contact passengers after their ride has been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n

(vi) <\/span>Avoid causing unnecessary alarm<\/b>. Always stick to the GPS recommended route.<\/span><\/p>\n

(v) <\/span>The Golden Rule<\/b>: No physical contact.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that everyone has a part to play in preventing and reporting sexual harassment. If you do encounter such inappropriate behaviours, you have a responsibility to report it to the authorities and <\/span>safety@grab.com<\/a><\/span> in a timely manner. This is to allow the investigation of criminal responsibility in accordance with the law in order to eliminate its reoccurrence.<\/span><\/p>\n
