I can’t seem to activate my promo code for GrabCar? Why is that so?
Please note that GrabTaxi promotions are not eligible for GrabCar unless said otherwise. For GrabCar promotion, please make sure to select “GrabCar” vehicle type before entering the promo code.
What do I do if I want to end my trip before I arrive at my final destination?
If you would like to end your journey before you arrive at your final destination, you must pay the full journey fare.
Are the fares subjected to surge pricing?
Yes, all upfront fixed fares are subjected to surge pricing regardless of whether there is an extra stop.

Why do I need to submit my phone number to register?
For first time users, we will be giving you an activation code to the number you’ve provided for us to ensure the authenticity of your number. This is also important for us or drivers to get in touch with you when picking you up.
Why is there a 25 baht booking fee?
The reason for a booking fee is for drivers to be able to cover their expense in going to where you are. Remember, drivers only start their meters once you’re inside the taxi. In addition, we provide you safety, speed and certainty. We will provide you the best taxi booking service in Bangkok and we promise to continuously serve you better every time.
I booked a taxi and my driver never arrived! What do I do?
We provide you with your driver’s information so feel free to call your designated driver. If any problems occur, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will investigate this for you.
What is the difference between GrabBike (Delivery) and GrabBike (Win)?

How can I use the GrabBike (Delivery) and GrabBike (Win) services?
You can use the GrabBike services by downloading and using Grab application. Choose “GrabBike (Delivery)” or “GrabBike (Win)” car types.
What is GrabBike (Delivery) and GrabBike (Win)’s coverage area?
Currently, our coverage is limited to Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pratumtani and Samut Prakan. We are always looking to expand our services, so stay tuned!
What can I deliver with GrabBike (Delivery)?
GrabBike (Delivery) is a service for deliveries. We have a 20 kg weight limitation. Senders should also ensure parcels are properly packed. We do not delivery contrabands, jewelry or cash.
What are the benefits of using GrabBike (Delivery)?

What can GrabExpress deliver?
Parcel measuring less than 75 cm in dimension (h+w+l) and weighing less than 5 KG. Please note that we do not accept breakables not properly packaged, food requiring chilled storage, alcohol/water, drugs, contrabands, jewelry or cash.
What happen to parcels that are not delivered?
It is important that you indicate name and contact number of your recipient so we can do our best to contact them to schedule delivery time. If your recipient is not contactable after 5 attempts, we will return the parcel to you – free of charge!
Where does GrabExpress deliver?
We are constantly looking to expand our network. Now, we can deliver all over the country but our current pick-up area service is limited to Greater Metropolitan Bangkok (Bangkok, Nontaburi, Samutprakan,Patumthani)
Is there a minimum number of parcels for this service?
No, we will offer the best door-to-door service even for just 1 parcel.
Do you provide other services such as cash-on-delivery, reverse logistics, warehousing?
No, we don’t have other services yet.

How to track my parcel?
All packages sent via GrabExpress will receive a receipt with the tracking number and shipping invoice once the booking is processed. You can use this tracking number to check the status of each individual delivery via our website.
Is there a minimum number of hours I need to drive?
No – you can drive whenever you want!
What vehicles can I use for GrabCar?

Does GrabCar take any commission?
Our fees are charged at 25% and is automatically deducted from your credit balance. You get to keep 100% of all your hard work!
Do I need an Android phone to use GrabCar?
Yes, the current Driver App is ONLY supported by Android platforms (e.g. Samsung, LG, etc.). Drivers with iPhones or phones on other platforms will need to obtain an Android phone before they are able to use the application.
Where to top up?
You can top your credit with us in person at Grab office, or you can do a bank transfer.
How to cash out driver wallet?
Follow the regular process instructed during your orientation. Should you need further assistance, you can call our Call Center for support.

Once you are done, your employees can ride with Grab and link their business-tagged rides to your group!
You will also have the option to set ride policies and enable payment options (credit card) to help you manage the way your employees travel.

You can log in via www.grab.com/work with the mobile number that you registered on the Grab app and create a group with a work email address to get started!
I am a new Grab user. How do I sign up?
You will need to download the Grab app via Google Play or Apple App Store on your mobile device to create your account. Log in via www.grab.com/work with the mobile number that you have registered on the Grab app to get started!
What details do I need to provide?
You will need to provide the following to create a group for Grab for Work:
1 Company name, address and work email address (e.g. email@example.com).
2. Employee details: name and eligible work email addresses.
3. Corporate card details (optional)
Where is this service available?
Grab for Work is available in all 6 countries that Grab is operating in (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).
How do I sign up if I have a regional presence?
You can choose to set up Grab for Work groups in any country you operate from.
What are the vehicle types and costs?
We have a variety of vehicle types (bikes, standard taxis, standard cars, executive cars, 6 to 13-seaters) and options for all business needs and budgets across Southeast Asia. Availability of vehicle types vary in each country. Please refer to grab.com for more information.
How do my employees make a booking?
Download the Grab app and make bookings as per normal rides. Do remind your employees to tag their rides using their Grab for Work group tag and to choose the preferred payment method (if your company has enabled this option).
What is a group?
A group is a selection of people that can share Payment Methods and Ride Policies. You can create groups by company, cost centre, department or team.
How do I create a group?
Log in via www.grab.com/work to start a group. You will become the default Admin.
How do I delete a group?
Go to the profile tab and click on edit. You can deactivate the group and delete it.
What can I do as an Admin?
Admins can access the group’s trip history, manage group payments or set ride policy settings for the group.
What can I see as an Admin?
You can only see ride details that are tagged to the group by your group members. You will not be able to view their personal rides.
Can I add more Admins?
For business continuity, it is advised to have multiple Admins in each group.
You can do so in two simple steps:
1. Add members to the group
2. Promote activated members as Admins.
They will receive an in-app notification of the promotion with no further action required.
How do I change our Admins?
An existing Admin will need to designate someone else as an Admin before removing him/herself.
How do I add or delete members to/from the group ?
Click on the “Manage Members” tab. You can do an individual or bulk CSV upload. Compulsory fields include employee’s name and work email address.
How many members can I add to a group?
We strongly advise adding a maximum of 30 members to a group for optimal search and organisational effectiveness.
Manage your members’ rides
What is a Grab for Work tag?
A tag is used to categorise your members’ rides to your Grab for Work group.
There is an option to switch between personal, business and group tags in the Grab app.
How do I enable the tag on members’ Grab app?
Set up a group. Add members and the group tag will appear in your members’ Grab app once they have activated their accounts successfully.
What are ride policy settings?
You can decide how your members should travel by time and date.
How do I restrict by time / day?
You can click on the “Ride Policy” tab and customise the policy by time and date.
What happens if my member takes a ride outside of my ride policy settings?
Your member will get an in-app notification that restricts them from making the booking unless they tag their ride as personal or use other payment methods.
Pricing & billing
How much does Grab for Work cost?
Grab for Work is FREE for self-serve accounts.
How do I opt for the monthly direct billing option?
Monthly direct billing is available only for companies who meet our eligibility criteria.
Are there any corporate rates?
Grab offers competitively priced fares for all ride and fleet options to suit your budget needs.
We do not offer corporate rates at the moment but we do work with partners to offer rebates (esp for corporate card holders) and other perks!
Can I pay for more than one employee using the same corporate credit card?
Yes. Just click on the ‘Payments’ tab and add, edit, delete your corporate credit cards.
Can I limit the number of employees who use the corporate credit card?
Yes, you can decide which member or groups can charge their rides directly to the corporate credit card.
What is the maximum number of members who can share a corporate card?
You can share a corporate credit card with a maximum of 5 group members. Please notify your issuing bank in advance on this group payment option. Contact our sales team if you need to enable corporate card sharing for more than 5 members.
Can my members see the credit card details?
Members will see a masked credit card option with only the last 4-digits visible.
Is GrabPay safe and secure?
Security is our top priority and we partner with leaders in the payments industry who have the highest safety standards and adhere to global payment guidelines.
What is the merchant category code?
GrabTaxi Pte Ltd is registered under the Merchant Category Code 4121, for Taxicabs and Limousines.
How do I download a statement?
Click on the ‘Rides’ tab. Choose your date range and click “Download Statement”. The statement will be emailed to your registered email.
What kind of trip information is available on the group statement?
Only Admins are able to view and download the statements for a group.
Our statements are fully compliant with audit standards and contain the following:
Ride Distance (km)
Trip Code, Trip Description (optional)
Can I download statements by departments?
If you have created groups by departments, simply download statements for each group.
Can I auto-send statements on a scheduled basis?
Yes. Statements can be auto-sent to your email inbox weekly or monthly. Enable this under the “Settings” tab.
When are the auto-scheduled statements sent to me?
The statements will be sent to you on the first day of every week or month.

Manage business rides
What are the business features available?
A. Categorising your ride
Tag your rides as personal, business and group in the Grab app to manage your rides.
B. Trip description field
You can choose to add trip details while you are tagging and they will be reflected on your ride statement.
C. Auto-schedule ride statements for claims
Manage the way you receive your business rides statement under Tag Management in Settings. You can add a work email, preferred credit card and enable weekly or monthly statements to be sent straight to your inbox for tagged rides.
D. Concur (optional)
If your company is on Concur, link up both apps and you can send your ride receipts directly to Concur. Check our Concur section below on how to get started!
How do I set up a business account?
Set up a business account via your Grab for Work group. Refer to Admin section on registration.
Can I use Grab for my business trips abroad?
Yes, you can use the same app to book on-demand rides in the 6 countries that Grab operates in: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
I received a Grab for Work group invitation. What should I do next?
Your colleague has added you as a member of their group. You should receive an email with a link where you can activate your account. It will redirect you to an online login page and prompt you to input the mobile number that is linked to your Grab account.
Can my company see my personal rides?
No, your company can only see the rides you have tagged as work group rides via the in-app group tag.
How do I link Grab to my Concur account?
Download the Concur app and head to the section “Connect to Apps”. Search for Grab and click “Connect’. Download the Grab app if you haven’t done so. You will be redirected to an online login; log in with the mobile number that is linked to your Grab account.
What are the payment options?
Cash, corporate credit card (if your Admin enables you to do so) or your own personal credit card!
