However, problems arise when Delivery Partners <\/span><b>repeatedly pick and choose (i.e. \u2018cherry-pick\u2019), or cancel, the jobs assigned to them,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> resulting in poor experiences for other Delivery-Partners and eaters.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Based on requests from our high rated delivery-partners, we will be introducing the <\/span><b>Driver Timeout <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">feature from <\/span><b>8 July 2019<\/b><b>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> This will prevent delivery-partners, who consistently ignore or cancel bookings, from receiving any jobs <\/span><b>temporarily.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Not accepting order requests causes delays and it does affect the experience for other delivery-partners. However, we understand that sometimes, due to certain circumstances, you can\u2019t accept every order request or you may want to take a break. If you are not ready to accept jobs, please toggle off the \u2018unavailable for jobs\u2019 button.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><b>How it works\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you ignore <\/span><span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><b>a job<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> after (after 45secs from receiving an order or by closing an order upon receiving it), a temporary lock screen will appear on your driver app to stop jobs from being allocated to you temporarily:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-60950\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.grab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/07\/05171539\/GIF1edited.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"397\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Images for illustrative purposes only.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Whenever you are ready to accept jobs, tap on the <\/span><b>Unlock<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> icon to continue receiving jobs normally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>However<\/b>, if you ignore or cancel <span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><b><u>multiple jobs consecutively<\/u>\u00a0<\/b><\/span>, you may be set as &#8220;Unavailable&#8221;, and may be temporarily prevented from receiving new jobs. Tap on the <\/span><b>\u2018Unlock\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> icon to continue receiving jobs. Alternatively, you may tap on <\/span><b>\u2018Stay Unavailable\u2019 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to remain unavailable.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;color: #009d3b\"><span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><b>How will this benefit responsible Driver-Partners?<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Delivery partners who \u2018cherry-pick\u2019, or who are not ready to accept jobs, will be temporarily blocked from receiving jobs. This will provide greater job potential for other Delivery Partners, especially those who maintain <\/span><b>high Acceptance Rates<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>low Cancellation Rates<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><b>Frequently Asked Questions<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Q: How many ignores and cancellations am I permitted before I\u2019m timed out?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A: You may timed out if you <\/span><b>ignore or cancel multiple jobs consecutively<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. This will apply for all service types you\u2019re currently enabled.
