Once you arrive, there\u2019s another layer of stress. Which terminal? Which drop-off point?\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We noticed that travellers often struggle to identify the correct terminal and drop-off point for their flight. So we thought about what we could do to make airport travel a little less stressful.<\/span><\/p><h5><b>The fix<\/b><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our solution? A feature that allows users to type in their flight details when they book a Grab ride. This way, travellers instantly know the correct terminal for their departure. By the end of May, the number of people using the flight search feature along with rides to and from the airport had increased by 14 per cent compared to when it first launched in February.<\/p><h5>How we got here<\/h5><p>At Grab, we\u2019re always looking for ways to solve real-world problems for our users. Airport navigation is a challenge that often goes unnoticed\u2014until you\u2019re in the thick of it.\u00a0<\/p><p>The process started with understanding the pain points of airport travel: confusion around terminals, drop-off locations, and time management. From there, we brainstormed ways to simplify the experience, ultimately landing on the idea of integrating flight and terminal information directly into the Grab app.\u00a0<\/p><p>It\u2019s one many travel-related features designed to simplify long journeys. Earlier this year, we also introduced an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.com\/sg\/inside-grab\/stories\/grabx-advance-booking-airport-pickup\/\">update to Advance Booking for airport pickups<\/a>. This allows the Grab app to track a passenger\u2019s flight status and adjust the pickup time dynamically based on real-time flight updates.<\/p><p>In 2023, we rolled out in-app <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.com\/sg\/inside-grab\/stories\/the-guide-to-pick-up-feature-will-help-travellers-navigate-airports\/\">airport guides<\/a> that help travellers navigate the building with visual cues, making it easy to find the closest Grab airport pick-up point.<\/p><h5>Seamless travel<\/h5><p>Whether you\u2019re a frequent flyer or heading to an unfamiliar airport, we want your journey to be enjoyable.
