With Audio Protect<\/a>, we add an additional layer of security by recording audio during trips. These recordings can help in resolving disputes and ensure accountability, creating a safer environment for both drivers and passengers.<\/p>

All recordings are encrypted and accessible only to Grab-authorised personnel, law enforcement officials, and government authorities in the event that a safety incident is reported. The app offers an SOS button for emergencies, which will link you directly with the local first responders and police, if required. The app also provides an easy way to report all kinds of safety issues, and our specially trained safety team is on stand-by to handle such reports. Our advanced trip monitoring system keeps an eye on the journey, collecting various data points about the trip\u2014for instance, deviations from the expected route.
