When Ong and Goh joined the company, Grab was just a small start-up with a fraction of the number of employees it has today.<\/p><p>Goh graduated with a law degree but never practised. Instead, he went on to take on roles in investment banking and consulting.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u201cEither I wanted to experience lots of things or I didn\u2019t really know what it was that called out to me,\u201d says Goh of the time he was trying out different roles. At Grab, however, he was able to see the impact of the work he did.\u00a0<\/p><p>Meanwhile, Ong was drawn to the opportunity to head up the people function at Grab having been in human resources for a good part of her career.\u00a0<\/p><p>She had played a huge role in shaping the company\u2019s culture. As Grab grew bigger, Ong and her team began focusing on developing leadership culture within the organisation.
