Grab driver-partners on motorcycles and bicycles are now able to access a new and improved driver safety report in their driver apps.<\/p>

We\u2019ve been providing an in-app driver safety report since 2020 across all our vehicle types. The report is generated from the Grab app\u2019s telematics data, which senses driving habits such as speeding, aggressive braking, and sharp cornering for example. This is flagged back to the driver so that they can be more mindful of these habits while they are on the road.<\/p>

Drivers get a daily and weekly recap of detected incidents, with an overall safety score so they can keep track of how they\u2019re doing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What\u2019s new for the two-wheel report<\/h5>

During research sessions with our two-wheel driver-partners, they told us they wanted even deeper information from the driver app\u2014they wanted it to prompt them when they were being unsafe, and to provide recommendations on how to improve their scores.<\/p>

The new version 2 of the driver safety report now includes a risk assessment based on past driving behaviour, helping them improve their riding habits overall.<\/p>

The new report will also include a map view of where the app detected unsafe riding so they can better recall what happened.<\/p>
