Terms and Conditions for “Shop Now Pay Later – Smartphone” – Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

1. Participation

You agree to participate in the “Shop Now Pay Later – Smartphone” offer (the “Offer”), provided by GFin Services (S) Pte. Ltd. (“Grab”, or the “Company”) subject to remaining an active Grab
Driver-Partner on the Grab platform, together with any other terms and conditions determined by the Company.

2. Selection of Merchandise

You may select your preferred model from the selection of smartphone(s) made available on the application form for collection in Grab’s partner store – Arrow Communication Group (“Arrow”), and agree to the repayment terms stipulated in the Application Form over a period of 26 weeks.

After your selection of the preferred smartphone model (2 colors available but subject to availability during pickup), during the opt-in period via the application form, you may proceed to collect the smartphone at location stipulated below on the date and time within the confirmation provided to you after a successful application:

3. Driver-Partner’s Responsibilities

By participating and subscribing to this Offer, you accept and consent that you shall be responsible and liable for the Weekly Repayment to Grab (detailed below) applicable to this Offer, and you hereby acknowledge the notice that the receivable
of the debt created by your purchase of the merchandise shall be assigned by Arrow to the Company.

For the avoidance of doubt, Arrow shall remain fully liable to perform all their obligations under the sales invoice, and the Company is under no liability whatsoever in the event of any failure Arrow to perform their obligations thereunder.

Once you have opted in for the preferred phone model in the application form, confirmed your interest via SMS and upon subsequent Failure to pick up the Mobile Phones, you may be liable for a 10% cancellation fee.

 

3. Repayment

Based on a final aggregate purchase amount, you will be required to repay in 26 equal installments with 0% interest.

For example, for a $1598 aggregate purchase your payment schedule will be as follows:

*Color preference can be stated by driver partner in the signup form, however the actual allocation from above two colors will be subject to availability.

This Weekly Payment schedule follows the same pattern and continues for 26 weeks after the first deduction is made

Weekly Repayment shall be made via deductions from the Driver-Partner’s cash and/or credit wallet shall commence from the date of collection stipulated in the confirmation, and shall continue every Monday for 26 consecutive weeks until
payment of the total invoice is completed. Weekly Repayment is due on Monday of every week. Outstanding amounts will be deducted the subsequent days.

All payments shall be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

4. Delays or default in Repayment

The Company reserves all rights to seek repayment from you in the event of a failure to comply with your repayment obligations under these Terms and Conditions or your termination as a Grab Driver-Partner.

As a security measure, you hereby acknowledge that the Company may block the smartphone IMEI and/or its mobile number linked to the smartphone, and install a security system which allows the Company to initiate phone lockdown in the event
security of the smartphone is threatened and/or where you have defaulted on your weekly payment for two weeks or more. You hereby agree that you will not reboot or reverse engineer the smartphone which may interfere with the security system of the
smartphone. Upon the completion of repayment schedule, the Company shall automatically lift the security system.

 

5. Smartphone product and warranty

The smartphone purchased is not exchangeable or refundable. Should there be a manufacturing defect, please call or visit Samsung’s customer service centre at the address provided below. Samsung upon examination may in its sole discretion offer an exchange should the smartphone be covered under manufacturing defect warranty.

Notwithstanding the exchange policy of Samsung, each smartphone comes with a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

6. Miscellaneous

The provisions of Sections 11-13 and 15-21 the Grab Driver-Partner Terms of Use shall apply to these Terms and Conditions.
