Where can I send money?

Currently, you can only send money from your GrabPay Wallet to another GrabPay Wallet in the Philippines. However, you can look forward to sending money to more Southeast Asian countries soon.

 

How easy is it?

1. Ensure you and your recipient have verified your accounts (a process also known as Know-Your-Customers or KYC)

2. Top up your GrabPay balance using your debit card or PayNow

3. Tap on ‘Payment’ then ‘Transfer Now’

4. Fill in your recipient’s mobile number and remittance amount. You’re all set!

You can top up your Wallet using your debit card or PayNow

In most cases, the transfer will be instant, but it may take up to 5 minutes for recipients to receive your money in their GrabPay Wallet.

Recipients can then use the money to pay for Grab services or transfer it to their bank accounts. For bank transfers, please note the following:

  • For BDO customers, transfers will be posted to their bank account within 3 hours.
  • For non-BDO customers, transfers will be posted to their bank account:
    • On the same day if the request is submitted  before 11AM
    • On the next working day if the request is submitted after 11AM

We don’t charge any transfer fees and offer a competitive exchange rate compared to other remittance providers. Plus, you’ll be able to see exactly how much your recipient will get in their local currency before you confirm the transfer.
