HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Get $6 after you have completed the 8th pickup
  2. Get extra $6 after you have completed the 12th pickup
  3. Get extra $8 after you have completed the 16th pickup

In total, you get up to $20 by completing 16 pickups only!


WHEN AND HOW WILL I GET MY INCENTIVE?

Incentive will be credited to your driver wallet the next working day, i.e. if you complete 8 pickups by Wednesday 11:59pm, you will get $6 on Thursday.

 


*Terms and Conditions

  • The GrabHitch Driver Incentive Program runs from 10 to 16 June 2019
  • Exclusive to selected GrabHitch Drivers who are recipients of the SMS incentive.
  • The minimum number of unique riders acquired must be met in order to receive the incentives:
    • For the 1st incentive: Must have at least 3 unique riders across the 8 pickups
    • For the 2nd incentive: Must have at least 4 unique riders across the 12 pickups
    • For the 3rd incentive: Must have at least 5 unique riders across the 16 pickups
  • Each Driver can only get a maximum of $20 incentive by completing 16 pickups during the incentive period.
  • GrabHitch Drivers will get:
    • $6 after completing the 8th pickup;
    • extra $6 after completing the 12th pickup;
    • extra $8 after completing the 16th pickup by 16 June 11:59pm
  • Only completed pickups will be counted, i.e. if the pickup is done on Monday but has not been completed in the app by Monday 11:59pm, no incentive will be credited on the next working day.
  • Incentive will be credited to your driver wallet the next working day, i.e.if you complete 8 pickups by Wednesday 11:59pm, you will get $6 on Thursday. 
  • All GrabHitch Drivers are required to adhere to 2 trips per day where each trip can consist of multiple pickups along the same way.
  • Grab reserves the right to change the incentive program at their own discretion.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
