Safe driving has always been a top priority for GrabRentals. That’s why we are running a 2-month Telematics-Based Safety Program from 11 Oct 2021 to 5 Dec 2021 where participants stand a chance to earn up to $100 worth of rebates just by driving safely!

How do I participate?

Program Period
11 October 2021 to 5 December 2021
Simply follow these steps to opt-in:
- Sign-up the opt-in form via the Grab Driver in-app.
- You will receive a confirmation message if you’re selected.
- Start driving safely!
Criteria
Meet these requirements when the trial starts!
- Achieve a monthly safety score of at least 81 and above
- Remain accident free (excluding windscreen claims)
- Drive the same car throughout the program
- Travel a minimum monthly mileage of 1,500km
- Complete the 2-month program

FAQs
The safety score is calculated based on 3 types of events:
- Harsh braking – Hard braking counts detected
- Speeding Records – Total number of days with speeding violations
- Harsh Accelerations – Harsh acceleration counts detected
Score events are triggered by the drivers’ driving behaviour.
You will be updated daily via SMS.
Drive with caution! Adopt good driving habits.
You are encouraged to:
- Avoid tailgating. Always keep a safe distance
- Look further ahead, allowing you to predict traffic conditions & have longer reaction time to brake to stop
- Release your accelerator pedal early to slow down & break smoothly
To check your safety score, you may refer to the daily SMS that will be sent to your Grab registered mobile number.
