Terms & Conditions for Ready. Steady. Ride! Challenge:

  1. Challenge is only valid from the start date of the stated challenge period until the end date of the stated challenge period, or until the available reward inventory runs out, whichever is the earlier to occur. There are limited rewards available for each milestone level. Rewards will be issued on a “while stocks last” basis and are subject to completion of the milestone level requirements. 
  2. Any Grab transaction made outside Singapore will not contribute towards this Challenge.
  3. Except for GrabHitch and GrabResponse, all Grab passenger rides are eligible for this Challenge (“Eligible Rides”).
  4. A maximum of 8 Eligible Rides per day will count towards the Challenge.
  5. Only Eligible Rides transacted via GrabPay or GrabPay Credits payment methods will count towards this Challenge.
  6. The relevant reward will be issued in the form of GrabRewards points, upon completion of each relevant milestone within the challenge period (subject to available reward inventory).

Terms & Conditions for Lucky Draw:

  1. Except for GrabResponse and GrabHitch, all Grab passenger rides, GrabFood orders, GrabMart orders and GrabExpress delivery bookings are eligible for the Lucky Draw (“Eligible Bookings”).
  2. Only Eligible Bookings transacted via GrabPay or GrabPay Credits payment methods, taken between the start and end date of the relevant lucky draw cycle, will count towards the respective draw cycle.
  3. Each Eligible Booking, completed during the relevant draw cycle, will earn 5 chances to enter the respective draw. Chances accumulated for each draw will not be carried over to the next draw cycle.
  4. Any Grab transaction made outside Singapore will not earn chances towards any draw.
  5. A maximum of 150 Eligible Bookings per cycle will count towards the Lucky Draw.
  6. The prizes will be issued to the winners in the form of GrabRewards points.
  7. Winners will be picked randomly after the Lucky Draw period.
  8. Results of the draw will be announced on https://grb.to/grabbonanza by 30 Sep 2020.
  9. Each person is only allowed to win 1 prize per Lucky Draw.
  10. Winners of the draw will be notified via any means of communication deemed appropriate by the Organisers, including, but not limited to, in-app notification, call or email.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
