Grab is organizing a celebration event for you with our Guest-Of-Honour Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State!

There will be lion dance performances, instant win booth, corporate partners booths and HALAL BUFFET LUNCH! Celebrate with us and stand a chance to win prizes from our Lunar New Year lucky draw* and awesome deals from our corporate partners.

Wuhan Coronavirus Precaution

It is important that everyone play their part as the Wuhan Coronavirus situation develops by taking the following precautionary measures:

  • If you have returned from Mainland China on 18 Jan 2020 or later, you would be observing a 14 day-leave of absence by the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, and should not attend the event.
  • If you have fever, cough or running nose, please see the doctor and rest at home. We would appreciate if you do not attend the event.

Grab reserves the right to refuse entry to driver-partners that appear unwell and / or has travelled to/from China recently.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
