The E-Scooter Trade-In Grant (eTG) Scheme is now CLOSED!

Dear Delivery-Partner,

Over the past week, we’ve heard your worries about the new ban of PMDs on footpaths. As such, we’re pleased to announce that we’re introducing assistance to help switch to other vehicle types after the recent e-scooter ban on footpaths.

The application for the e-Scooter Trade-In Grant (eTG) scheme is now CLOSED! The scheme provides financial assistance to riders who would like to purchase a new bicycle or power-assisted bicycle (PAB) to replace your e-Scooter. Grab has partnered with LTA to match the subsidy dollar-for-dollar. If you are eligible for the eTG scheme, you can receive up to $1,000 for PABs or $600 for bicycle. Terms and Conditions apply.

Eligibility criteria of the eTG scheme:

  1. Must be a Grab registered PMD delivery-partner as of 3 November 2019 (before the ban announcement)
  2. Have completed at least 1 GrabFood trip between 9 Oct – 7 Nov 2019
  3. Must have an LTA-registered e-Scooter that is tied to your GrabFood account to trade-in.

Important: Remember to get confirmation of your eligibility for the eTG scheme through the application process before making a purchase. Please read the information kit carefully before proceeding with your purchase and submitting your claims. Download the checklist for your reference.
