At Grab, your safety is our utmost priority. We understand it can be challenging for you, our Driver-Partners, to drive while switching between multiple apps.
Starting 10th May as part of Grab’s Better 365* project, we are piloting Grab Maps within the Grab Driver app! With Grab Maps, the end-to-end driving experience is kept entirely within a single app, allowing for better and uninterrupted concentration on the road.
*Please ensure your Grab Driver App is v5.38.0 and above
How it looks
As you may receive back-to-back jobs or GrabShare matches while navigating, simply accept job to revert to the Grab Maps screen. Alternatively, the job card comes with a ‘Skip Job’ button. Located at the top-right corner, you have the option to skip the job before the timer runs out. Note that skipping a job will affect your Acceptance Rate.
Enabling Grab Maps for Your Driver App
- Go to your Driver profile and access the ‘Settings’ page
- Tap on ‘Navigation Provider’
- Select ‘Grab Maps’ as your preferred navigation provider
Grab Maps will now open by default whenever you tap on the ‘Navigate’ icon during a trip.
*Better 365 is a commitment made by Grab to improve the lives of our Driver-Partners. Thanks to all your valuable feedback, Grab has been able to develop initiatives such as Grab Maps, that look to enhance the Grab Experience, 365 days a year.
