Think Green, Act Green

From December 7th until January 7th, we’ve partnered with Biopak to offer GrabFood merchants eco-packaging options.

Think Green and Act Green by upgrading to eco-packaging from participating merchants.

Grab has also partnered with Muuse and Barepack to offer reusable packaging to our users. Learn more about it here.

In Singapore, most of our plastic waste is incinerated which produces  toxic gases. Choosing eco-packaging is the more environmentally-friendly option.

When you choose to upgrade to eco-packaging with a participating GrabFood merchant, Grab will offset the carbon emission for that food delivery ride.

Order your new Hokkien Mee in an eco-friendly packaging from GrabFood. Let’s all do our part to make the world a greener place!

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
