Introducing GrabTaxi’s Platinum+ & Platinum Partner Programme!

The GrabTaxi Platinum+ & Platinum Partner Programme is a new loyalty programme to recognize our TOP 1,000 performing GrabTaxi Partners for their continuously high level of service. As a start, pre-selected Partners can look forward to receiving additional Quarterly Bonus Incentives, as well as higher Medisave Contributions from Grab, subject to the Programme’s Eligibility Criteria.

Partners will be evaluated on a quarterly basis for their eligibility into the Programme, as well as their corresponding rank for the quarter.

The Platinum+ & Platinum Partner Programme will replace the Elites & Rangers Programme, with effect from 3rd April 2017.

Programme Rewards & Benefits

Subject to the Programme’s Eligibility Criteria, Platinum+ or Platinum Partners can look forward to receiving an additional 100% or 50% of their total incentives earned in the previous quarter (eg. January to March 2017). Furthermore, Platinum+ and Platinum Partners can expect to receive 15% and 10%, respectively, as CPF Medisave Contributions from Grab, for their applicable incentives earned in the month.

Below is a summary of the rewards.


* Payout of quarterly bonus incentive is subject to Partner’s maintaining their Platinum+ or Platinum rank in the next Quarter.
** Medisave contributions will be made on a monthly basis, on the applicable incentives earned by the Partner according to the rank during the incentive period.


Aside from the Quarterly Bonus Incentive, and higher Medisave Contribution, Platinum+ and Platinum Partners can look forward to more rewards and benefits coming soon. Be sure to stay tuned for more details.

Eligibility Criteria*

To be considered for the Platinum+ or Platinum rank, Partners will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain a high acceptance rate;
  • Maintain a low cancellation rate;
  • Provide high customer service to passengers;
  • Complete as many jobs as possible;
  • Be among the top 1,000 drivers for the whole Quarter; and
  • Be an existing GrabTaxi Partner for the whole Quarter.

If you maintain your rank consecutively, you will become eligible for the relevant Quarterly Bonus Incentive. Refer to the example below on how to obtain the Quarterly Bonus Incentive.


Example 1:

How to read the table (Example 1):

  1. For the Quarter of April to June, based on your previous Quarter (January to March) performance you are ranked as Platinum+ for this Quarter (April to June), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $1,000. Grab will make monthly contribution of 15% of the applicable incentives earned in April, May, and June, by the end of May, June, and July, respectively.
  2. For the Quarter of July to September, based on your previous Quarter (April to June) performance you have maintained your rank as Platinum+ for this Quarter (July to September), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $500. As you have maintained your rank as Platinum+, you will get $1,000 as a Quarterly Bonus Incentive, which is 100% of the incentive earned in the earlier Quarter (April to June). The Bonus Incentive will be paid by end of July. Grab will make monthly contribution of 15% of the applicable incentives earned in July, August, and September, by the end of August, September, and October, respectively.
  3. For the Quarter of October to December, based on your previous Quarter (July to September) performance your rank changes to Platinum for this Quarter (October to December), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $300. As you rank is now Platinum, you will get $250 as a Quarterly Bonus Incentive, which is 50% of the incentive earned in the earlier Quarter (July to September). The Bonus Incentive will be paid by end of October. Grab will make monthly contribution of 10% of the applicable incentives earned in October, November, and December, by the end of November, December, and January, respectively.
  4. For the Quarter of January to March, based on your previous Quarter (October to December) performance your rank changes to Regular for this Quarter (January to March), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $100. As your rank is now Regular, you are no longer eligible for the Quarterly Bonus Incentive this round. Grab will make monthly contribution of 8% of the applicable incentives earned in January, February, and March, by the end of February, March, and April, respectively.

How to read the table (Example 2):

  1. For the Quarter of April to June, based on your previous Quarter (January to March) performance you are ranked as Platinum for this Quarter (April to June), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $800. Grab will make monthly contribution of 10% of the applicable incentives earned in April, May, and June, by the end of May, June, and July, respectively.
  2. For the Quarter of July to September, based on your previous Quarter (April to June) performance you have maintained your rank as Platinum for this Quarter (July to September), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $1,000. As you have maintained your rank as Platinum, you will get $500 as a Quarterly Bonus Incentive, which is 50% of the incentive earned in the earlier Quarter (April to June). The Bonus Incentive will be paid by end of July. Grab will make monthly contribution of 10% of the applicable incentives earned in July, August, and September, by the end of August, September, and October, respectively.
  3. For the Quarter of October to December, based on your previous Quarter (July to September) performance your rank changes to Platinum+ for this Quarter (October to December), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $1,250. As you rank is now Platinum+, you will get $1,000 as a Quarterly Bonus Incentive, which is 100% of the incentive earned in the earlier Quarter (July to September). The Bonus Incentive will be paid by end of October. Grab will make monthly contribution of 15% of the applicable incentives earned in October, November, and December, by the end of November, December, and January, respectively.
  4. For the Quarter of January to March, based on your previous Quarter (October to December) performance you have maintained your rank as Platinum+ for this Quarter (January to March), and during that 3 months you earned total incentives of $1,500. As you have maintained your rank as Platinum+, you will get $1,500 as a Quarterly Bonus Incentive, which is 100% of the incentive earned in the earlier Quarter (October to December). Grab will make monthly contribution of 15% of the applicable incentives earned in January, February, and March, by the end of February, March, and April, respectively.

A: As you have become a Platinum+ Partner, instead of 50% of the applicable Quarter’s incentive, you will instead get 100% of the applicable Quarter’s incentive as your Quarterly Bonus Incentive.
