New Year, New Quarter in Hitch Club! 🌈

Hi Hitch Drivers,

We said goodbye to 2018 on your behalf on 27 Dec. Now, it’s time to usher the new year with some updates!

Hitch Club quarterly period refresh

This quarter is coming to an end soon! If you have earned enough points to maintain your tier, you’ll start the new quarter (Jan to Mar) in that tier. Otherwise, your tier will be downgraded according to the total points achieved by 31 Dec 2359.

Due to the change of quarters, your profile in your Grab app will not be refreshed as per usual on Monday, 31 Dec. Instead, it will be refreshed on Wednesday, 2 Jan, so keep a look out for your new tier!

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
