New feature coming your way, plus changes to Hitch Club! 🌈

Hi Hitch Drivers,

April is just around the corner… Are you ready for exciting updates?

Launch of Hitch Statements Portal [Beta]
Want to track your rides history at your finger tips? You’ll be able to do so really soon!

Coming to you in April, keep a lookout for more 😉

Quarterly refresh of your Hitch Club tier and points
As we move on to a new quarter (1 Apr to 30 Jun), your tier will be refreshed according to the total points you’ve earned this quarter (1 Jan to 31 Mar). Here are the benefits our top tier Champ drivers have been enjoying:
  • 5% platform fee rate instead of 10%
  • 3 x no-show guarantee claims per month at 50% of original fare amount
  • Invitation to Grab events such as Hitch Huddle
  • Feature testing such as Hitch Statements Portal
  • And more!

Changes to Hitch Club Multipliers
From 1 Apr onwards, there will no longer be any bonus multiplier for rides to/fro the Downtown Core area. Instead, we’re upsizing the weekend multiplier from 1.5X to 2X so that all areas get rewarded!

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
