How to get your free ride!

  1. Download the Grab app from the App Store or Google Play and register your account. If you already have the Grab app, please ensure you have updated to the latest version.
  2. Tap on the menu on the top-left hand corner of the screen and select “GrabPay”.
  3. Click on “Add Credit Card” to enter your card details.
  4. Return to the booking screen to select your pick-up and drop-off points..
  5. Choose any GrabCar vehicle type and set credit card as your payment method.
  6. Enter the promo code GRAB4YEARS in the promo code field.
  7. Tap ‘Book’ and enjoy your free ride (up to $15 off)!

Promo code Terms and Conditions:

  • Promo code is only valid on 6, 13, 20 and 27 June 2016.
  • Valid on all GrabCar vehicle types only.
  • Valid for Card payments only.
  • Limited to 1 redemption per user per Monday.
  • Users are entitled to a total of 4 redemptions throughout the campaign period.

  • “Free Ride 4 Mondays” (“the Campaign”) is organised by GrabCar Pte Ltd. (“the Organiser”) and is open to all GrabCar (Economy) users.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
