Documents required for GrabFood PMD Application

Profile Picture:

An acceptable profile picture has the following characteristics:

  1. It should be a front facing picture – with a clear view of your face
  2. No one else should be present in the photo 
  3. The picture should have a white background
  4. Do not wear any headgear or shades in the picture
  5. Do not take a picture of another picture

An acceptable NRIC document upload has the following characteristics:

  1. Take a picture of both sides of the NRIC
  2. The NRIC should be in a good state with all the information visible clearly
  3. Do not edit images

Banking Details:

An acceptable document upload your banking details has the following characteristics:

  1. It should be a picture that shows your name and your account number clearly
  2. Examples could include pictures of your bank passbook or bank e-statement

An acceptable picture of the PMD has the following characteristics:

  1. The picture should clearly show the full PMD and the Registration Number
  2. The Registration Number should match the E-Letter with Annex A

E-Letter from LTA with Annex A


For the E-Letter from LTA, take note of the following:

  1. Where to get the E-Letter: Log in to your One Motoring Account > Click on “E-Letter inbox” to retrieve your E-Letter
  2. The E-Letter should clearly state your name and your vehicle’s registration number
  3. The vehicle’s registration number should match the picture of your PMD

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
