By using Grab, GrabFood or GrabExpress as a passenger or consumer, you are bound by the following Code of Conduct, in addition to our Terms of Service and the local laws where you use Grab. You may not attempt to contact your driver or fellow passengers after the trip, unless it\u2019s to arrange the return of a lost item.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong>Follow road safety laws.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do not ask your driver to speed or commit traffic violations, including stopping at unsafe or illegal locations. Wear a seatbelt at all times. Wear a helmet if travelling on a bike or scooter. Babies, children and any pets must travel with appropriate restraints where governed by local laws.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Theft, robbery, or property damage will not be tolerated.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You may be penalised under the prevailing law in the event of any theft, robbery, acts of vandalism, or damage to the driver\u2019s vehicle or other property.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Illegal or prohibited items must not be brought inside the vehicle.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you suspect your driver is under the influence, you have the right to end the trip immediately and alert the authorities. Likewise, do not use Grab as a platform to transport drugs or other prohibited items.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#00b140\"><b>Follow food safety regulations.<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n<p>You should observe food safety regulations of restaurants insofar as they may be applicable when placing orders through the platform such as Self Pick-Up orders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#00b140\"><span style=\"font-weight: 700;line-height: 1\">Unsubstantiated claims and fraudulent activities are prohibited.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p>You should not claim refund or in any way demand compensation for claims which are unsubstantiated, fraudulent, or otherwise false. Using multiple accounts to commit fraudulent activity is prohibited.&nbsp;<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1032\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Respect Your Driver<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1032\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1032\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Show up and be on time.<\/b><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Book when you\u2019re ready to travel. Show up for your ride &#8211; and be punctual. Don\u2019t cancel without good reason. If you\u2019ve made an order with GrabFood, ensure someone is there to receive your food.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Ensure a seamless pickup.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Choose the correct Pick Up location. Communicate with your driver to find each other. Confirm your driver\u2019s identity before boarding the vehicle (Grab) or handing over your parcel (GrabExpress).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Ensure a seamless drop-off.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For all Grab, GrabFood and GrabExpress bookings, ensure your Drop-Off location is accurate and safe before booking. All our drivers are trained to follow the route suggested by the GPS. No detours or pit stops, unless you are using the Multi-Stop Ride feature (only for Grab rides). If you need to alight at a different drop-off point, please use our &#8220;Change Drop Off Point&#8221; feature (only for Grab rides).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Be polite and respectful.<\/b><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Treat your driver with respect at all times. Don\u2019t smoke\/ vape. Don\u2019t litter, spit, vomit, shout, swear, put your legs on the dashboard, consume food or drinks, or slam the door. You\u2019re also responsible for the behaviour of your guests.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Leave nothing behind.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Remember to bring your belongings &amp; trash with you.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Rate your driver fairly.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After every trip or delivery, show your appreciation for your driver or delivery partner by rating the trip and providing feedback.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Respect your driver\u2019s privacy.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Don\u2019t keep or share personal details about your driver or delivery partner. Keep up to date with our Privacy Policy here.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>In case of emergency&#8230;<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Always call the authorities first. Once all parties are safe and authorities have been notified, contact Grab to report the incident. You will be penalized using the Grab Emergency Hotline for Non-Emergency matters or for reporting fake incidents or emergencies.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1033\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Be a Good Grab Citizen<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1033\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1033\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Comply with our Terms.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You must be 18 to hold a Grab account, and this means minors must be accompanied. Consumers of GrabFood must be of legal age to buy alcohol. Do not book a ride on behalf of a stranger. Keep up to date with our other Terms of Service here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Use the right service.<\/b><\/strong><\/span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Are you travelling with lots of luggage or more than 4 passengers? Do you need to send an item to a friend? Choose the right Grab service for your needs, or your driver\/deliver-partner may refuse to take you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Use the service properly.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Don\u2019t use Grab to deliver unaccompanied goods (unless you\u2019re using Grab Food or Grab Express). Don&#8217;t overload the vehicle with luggage or use the service for moving house. For GrabExpress, abide by the maximum weight and volume recommendations. Don\u2019t make arrangements with drivers outside the application &#8211; we can\u2019t provide support or help to ensure your safety.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Act in good faith.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do not share accounts or create duplicate accounts. Always provide truthful information when creating and accessing your accounts, disputing charges or fees, or when writing in to provide feedback. Use offers and promotions only as intended.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Make correct payment.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Check your mode of payment (including any promo or rewards codes) before booking. Confirm the final fare (including any tolls) before alighting. Always pay the correct fare as displayed on the Grab app. For GrabFood, confirm the items and price of your basket before check-out.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&nbsp;<\/span>For cash loans, confirm the repayment amount shown in the Grab App and make full repayment of the total amount due \u2014including any interest, fees, and charges \u2014by the stated due date.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"color: #00b140\"><strong><b>Your account, your responsibility.<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keep your account details up to date. Only access your account through the official Grab app. Keep your password private. Don\u2019t respond to any requests for your login details. Use GrabPay PIN for extra security.
