At Grab, we want to take the lead in making sure that we provide safe rides for everyone–especially children. For the roll out of GrabFamily BETA, we have partnered with Combi to equip each GrabFamily car with one specialized car seat suitable for children aged 1 – 12 years old.

• What is GrabFamily?
  • GrabFamily is a premium Grab transport special service equipped with car seats for children aged 1-12 years old. It is currently available in Metro Manila only.

• How do I know if I need to book a GrabFamily ride for my child?
  • Our seats on GrabFamily rides can accommodate children aged 1-12 years old, with a height  under 150cm and weight between 15-36kg

• Why should I book GrabFamily?
  • As the Philippines recognizes the need for improved child car safety standards, GrabFamily is our initial offering to help make sure that families with young kids can travel even more safely.
  • GrabFamily has special features such as:
    • A special car seat fit for children aged 1-12 years old
    • Specially-trained GrabFamily drivers
    • An in-car kit with tissue, baby wipes, and alcohol to make sure you have a comfortable ride 

• How many passengers are allowed?
  • A GrabFamily ride can fit up to 6 pax, including the child. Only one (1) car seat is provided for now, so if you have more than one child riding with you, we recommend to bring an extra child seat.

• How can I book GrabFamily?
  • On the homescreen, select Car and look for GrabFamily under Special Services
