Q: What are the requirements?

A: Requirements for Peer / Car Owner

  1. Official Receipt/Certificate of Registration (OR / CR)
  2. If available, please submit any of the following, LTFRB TNVS Application “stamped receiving copy w/ case number, PA or CPC

For Driver

  1. Professional Driver’s License, if not yet issued kindly present the Official Receipt of registration from LTO
  2. Screenshot of Uber driver app; this can also be presented during application

NOTE: If you are applying as both the Peer and Driver, please present all the documents mentioned above. All documents with expiration must be valid twenty one (21) days before the expiry date.

Q: What if the vehicle I’m applying with isn’t registered in my name?

A: You will need to submit the following additional requirements:

  1. Notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) from the owner of vehicle with the following information:
  • Vehicle Owner
  • Name of Attorney-in-fact
  • Car Model
  • Car Motor Number
  • Car Chassis Number
  • Car Plate Number

2. Photocopy of two(2) Government valid IDs with three(3) signature specimen of vehicle owner

Q: What if I am the car owner but I can’t attend the scheduled seminar and/or personally claim my G-cash card?

A: Your authorized representative must bring along an Authorization letter along with two (2) valid government-issued IDs with three (3) specimen signatures is required.

Q: When will my account be activated?

A: Your account can be activated only after ALL of the following:

(1) Your documents are verified and approved
(2) You have attended the training and onboarding program
(3) The vehicle you are driving should be in the LTFRB’s audited masterlist.

Q: Is there an age limit for Peers or Drivers?

A: There is no age limit to become a peer. For driver applicants aged 60 years old and above, a Medical Certificate indicating that he or she is fit to work is required.

Q: I used to be with Grab, and switched to Uber. When I opened my Grab app, it’s no longer working. What do I do?

A:  You would need to apply again. Please apply online at

Q: My account has been deactivated by Uber, but I registered my vehicle in 2016. Can I still join Grab?

A:  If you are part of the LTFRB Masterlist, yes you can still transfer to Grab. Please apply online

Q: How can I know if I’m part of the LTFRB Masterlist?

A:  Go to and enter your plate number. There will be a pop-up window prompting if your plate number is not part of the LTFRB Masterlist.

Q: What if I didn’t receive an SMS confirmation after reserving a slot?

A: Please ensure that you followed the correct format when entering your mobile number (e.g. 639171234567)

Q: What if I was banned from Grab in the past? Can I still apply again?

A: As long as your offense is not classified as a P1 offense, you may try to apply again

Q: I’m already an existing Grab Peer, but I have another car that’s registered only with Uber that I want to register with Grab. What do I do?

A: Please apply online at

Q: I’m an Uber operator and I want to register to Grab, but the website asks me to only input the driver’s details. What do I do as an operator?

A: Apply the driver online at Once online application is approved; the operator is advised to go with their driver to the account activation venue during their chosen schedule to fill out the application form with the Operator Information.

Q: I’m an Uber operator and I already have a schedule with LTFRB for PA, what will happen to my schedule?
