To protect our community, we take action against both driver-partners and passengers who frequently cancel without valid reason.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b;text-decoration: none\">What is a Cancellation Rate?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Driver-partner\u2019s Cancellation Rate (CR) = number of jobs you cancelled divide the jobs accepted<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">You can monitor your CR on the driver app.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: none;font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b\">So, why did I receive a warning?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Your <strong>driver-partner\u2019s CR is much higher<\/strong> than other driver-partners\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">You <strong>use cancellation to select jobs<\/strong> during peak hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">We frequently receive passenger feedback that <strong>you have requested them to cancel<\/strong> without valid reason<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">This (point number 3) has happened for a few weeks in a row<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Note: The driver-partner CR reflected in your app may be 0% but you may still receive a warning SMS if you have repeatedly requested your passengers to cancel your rides. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: none;font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b\">How do passenger cancellations affect me?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Passenger cancellations will affect you <strong>ONLY if you have repeatedly requested them to cancel on your behalf.<\/strong> We monitor your passenger cancellation across multiple weeks to avoid taking unfair actions against driver-partners who have been cancelled on many times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b\">When can I <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b\">cancel<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: none;font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b\">?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">We understand that there are certain situations that require you to cancel a booking. Valid reasons that will not affect your CR when you reach the pick-up point include:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Passenger doesn\u2019t show and\/or you\u2019ve waited for too long*<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Passenger has chosen an unsuitable\/ illegal pick-up point (e.g. roadside, bus stop, etc.) <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">You are unable to accommodate a passenger\u2019s request (e.g., fitting 5 people into a car)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;color: #666666;text-decoration: italic\">*Please wait a maximum of 5 minutes for all Grab services except for GrabShare and Multi-Stop Rides, which have a maximum waiting period of 3 minutes.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: none;font-size: 16pt;color: #009d3b\">What are the stages before being banned? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">If you\u2019ve received the first warning SMS, do not worry, you can still improve your CR. There are three stages before a driver-partner is banned:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">1. Soft warn <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">2. Warn<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">3. Suspend &amp; Re-education <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">4. Banned <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;text-decoration: none;font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">Tips to reduce your CR: Refrain from cancelling your rides without a valid reason, and refrain from asking your passengers to cancel their rides. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 1.5\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #666666\">To provide a good experience, we encourage you to use GrabChat to inform a passenger of your reason for cancelling before doing so.
