JPJ and APAD organised a briefing last Friday and have informed E-hailing operators that e-hailing drivers are required to have the following on 12 Oct:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. PSV licence <\/span>OR<\/span>\u00a0proof of passing the exam*<\/span>\u00a0while you wait for your PSV licence (see screenshots below)<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Puspakom disc <\/span>if your vehicle is <\/span>more than 3 years old<\/span>\u00a0from the date of manufacture<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. E-Hailing sticker <\/span>displayed on the front and rear windscreen<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Valid e-hailing insurance <\/span>– Grab Daily E-hailing Insurance or annual\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition, despite the Minister of Transport\u2019s announcement in May (<\/span>link to Star article<\/a><\/span>), JPJ and APAD have just introduced two new requirements during the briefing: <\/span><\/p>\n

    1. [NEW] Printed copy of the EVP. <\/span>If you have the EVP, kindly fill in the relevant sections on this <\/span>template<\/a><\/span>\u00a0based on your driver profile & print a copy. Click here for the <\/span>how-to guide<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. [NEW] Change vehicle code to \u2018AH\u2019 (private e-hailing)<\/span>\u00a0at the nearest JPJ branch. You will need to fill up the JPJ forms (EH1 & K8) and provide a copy of your:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
