At Grab, we strive for each and every journey to be as seamless as possible for our Driver-Partners. However, confusion and uncertainty may arise when passengers need to make an urgent or last minute change to their destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why now, passengers will be able to <\/span>change their drop-off point within their own Grab app<\/span>\u00a0with the new Passenger Change Drop-off feature. When this happens, your Grab Driver app will update <\/span>automatically<\/span>*<\/span>\u00a0to show the new destination, the fixed fare for the total distance travelled, as well as a \u2018Change Drop-Off\u2019 surcharge <\/span>of <\/span>RM2.<\/span><\/p>\n

This helps ensure that you\u2019re paid fairly and accurately for your entire driving journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Notes: <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Passengers can only change their drop-off point once, and this will only be applicable to fixed fare rides. The \u2018Change Drop-Off\u2019 surcharge is included in the fare, please DO NOT collect from passengers.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. For driver-partners on third-party navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.), you will receive a \u00a0pop-up (Android) or push notification (iOS) alert when the destination changes. Please tap on the Navigate button again to route to the correct drop-off point.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. For your safety, please only accept requests to change destinations from the app.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. For all service types except GrabTaxi.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. Tap the <\/span>Navigate<\/span>\u00a0button to route to the passenger\u2019s updated destination<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. The final fare will be based on the <\/span>total distance<\/span>\u00a0travelled, and includes an additional <\/span>\u2018Change Drop-Off\u2019<\/span>\u00a0surcharge <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Yes. Android users will receive a pop-up alert, while iOS users will receive a push notification. Tap on the message to return to the Grab Driver app, and then tap on the Navigate button to route to the correct drop-off point. <\/span><\/p>\n

      Does Grab collect commision from the \u2018Change Drop-Off\u2019 surcharge?<\/span><\/p>\n
