Make them feel <strong>safe<\/strong>, <strong>respected<\/strong> and <strong>appreciated<\/strong> throughout the journey. This extends to the <strong>vehicle<\/strong> you are entering. Help keep the car clean and in good condition always.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\nTo ensure a seamless<strong><span style=\"color: #009d3b\"> Grab<\/span> <\/strong>experience, here are the <span style=\"color: #009d3b\"><strong>Golden Rules<\/strong><\/span> every passenger should follow when taking a Grab ride.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span style=\"color: #009d3b\">BEFORE<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Choose the right service<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">GrabCar, GrabTaxi and GrabCar+ (premium) can only accommodate a maximum of 4 passengers.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">GrabCar (6-seater) can fit up to 6 passengers and a GrabShare can only accommodate 2 passengers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Select the correct pick up and drop off points<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For safety purpose, your driver will only be allowed to pick you up and drop you off at the destination entered upon booking.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Be sure of your payment method<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nSelect Cash OR Credit\/Debit Card (GrabPay).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Check the validity of your promo codes<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Make sure to read the terms and condition of your promo code before booking to ensure a successful redemption.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Communicate with your driver<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\nWrite a note to your driver OR use GrabChat if you need to communicate with your driver. This allows your driver to locate you better.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Sending of unaccompanied goods\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">are not allowed<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>For safety reasons, passengers are not allowed to book a Grab ride to deliver goods which are not accompanied by the passenger.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Only book when you\u2019re ready to go<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For all Grab services, drivers will only wait for 5 minutes upon reaching your pick up point except for Multiple Stop Rides and GrabShare which has a waiting time of 3 minutes. Your ride will be cancelled if you do not board the vehicle within the given time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Don\u2019t cancel unnecessarily<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cancelling your ride can be frustrating for your driver especially if he or she is on the way to pick you up.<br \/>\nUse the GrabChat function to ask if you driver is nearby OR inform them if you need to cancel.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt;color: #009d3b\">DURING<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Check your ride <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">when it arrives<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Double-check the vehicle number plate before entering the car and make sure it\u2019s the right driver.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">In GPS we trust<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b>Drivers are trained to use GPS navigation app to get you to your destination as safely and quickly as possible.<br \/>\nInform your driver if you have a preferred route based on what the GPS suggests, but it is up to the driver\u2019s discretion to select the most suitable route.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>N<\/strong><b>o pit stops<\/b> <b>allowed<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span>Drivers will only send you to your drop off destination and no stops are allowed.<br \/>\nIf you wish to make an additional stop, please use the Multiple-Stop Rides function to input your second stop.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Any <b>toll charges<\/b> incurred during your journey are added onto your base fare at the end of your trip.<\/span><br \/>\nIt is your responsibility to pay for these charges.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><span style=\"color: #009d3b\">AFTER<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><b>Pay the correct fare<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This includes any toll charges that may have been incurred along the way.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Check your surroundings before leaving<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We don\u2019t want you to be without your mobile phone, wallet or bags when you arrive at your destination.<br \/>\nApart from that, be watchful of the surrounding before opening the car door.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Remember to <\/strong><\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">rate your drivers fairly and honestly<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ratings help us maintain the quality of service, and also affects the driver\u2019s livelihood.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure<\/strong> to adhere to these rules may result in penalties, including removal from the Grab community.<br \/>\nThis may come in the form of <strong>suspension<\/strong> or <strong>account termination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thank you once again for being part of change.
