What does “Interest Rate” mean?<\/strong><\/p>

The term “Interest Rate” refers to the charge applied for using PayLater to split your payments into installments. This charge compensates for the cost of providing the PayLater service.<\/p>

What are “Late Payment Charges”?<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cLate Payment Charges” are fees incurred if you fail to pay your installment(s) on time. These charges encourage timely payments and cover administrative costs related to overdue accounts.<\/p>

The terminology change does not affect the amount charged. The fees\/rate remain the same; only the names are being updated for clarity. Your current PayLater plan and agreement remain unchanged. The updates only affect the terminology used to describe the charges.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Grab users who are eligible for PayLater should be<\/p>

  1. You\u2019re aged\u00a021 years<\/strong>\u00a0or over<\/li>
  2. Your account has been\u00a0fully verified<\/li>
  3. Your Grab app has been updated to the latest version.<\/li><\/ol>

    If you’re eligible for PayLater, you’ll be able to activate it in-app<\/a>, or simply launch your Grab app, tap on Payments, tap on Enjoy Now and Pay Later under Explore GrabPay.<\/p>

    If you don’t see the PayLater option, we’re unfortunately unable to offer this service to you just yet. All approvals are subject to our internal review.<\/p>

    PayLater by Grab<\/strong> lets you consolidate and manage your payments across various Grab services, including rides, food, deliveries, online and in-store partners, or at stores with DuitNow QR for selected users. Once activated, you’ll be granted a PayLater limit to spend. Your Postpaid purchases will be grouped into a monthly bill, payable via GrabPay or linked card.<\/p>

    There are two ways to use PayLater: PayLater Postpaid<\/strong> and PayLater Instalments<\/strong>.<\/p>

    PayLater Postpaid (Pay next month)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

    With PayLater Postpaid, you can consolidate all your Grab purchases (like rides, food, and deliveries) or eligible in-store payments into a single bill and pay for them the following month \u2014 interest-free.<\/p>
