GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) provides top-notch service so you can travel in comfort to/from KLIA/KLIA2 for RM180. Tolls are charged separately. This ride can be booked on demand, or up to 7 days in advance;  and only available for booking for selected passengers in selected KL areas only. 

GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is available at the following prices (not inclusive of tolls):

  • Klang Valley (selected areas) to/from KLIA/KLIA2: RM180
  • Klang Valley (selected areas) to Subang Airport: RM100

  1. GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is available for pick up from the following areas:
    • KLIA
    • KLIA2
    • KLCC area
    • Bangsar
    • KL Sentral
    • Damansara Heights
    • Mont Kiara
    • Hartamas
  2. GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is a BETA phase and available to selected passengers only. If you are unable to see the product, please be patient as we roll out the feature to more passengers and more areas.
  3. GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is available at a fixed price for rides to/from KLIA/KLIA2 and to Subang Airport only.
  4. For rides above 80km, there will be additional charge of RM5/km.
  5. Fare of GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) for non-airport rides may differ.

Q: What is GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport)?

GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is a luxury airport transfer service which provides users with the flexibility to book the service on-demand or in advance with the assurance of ultimate comfort and exceptional service with experienced, professional drivers.

Q: What vehicles are used in GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport)?

At Beta phase, all GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) vehicles would be Toyota Vellfire.

Q: Why am I unable to find it as a service option in the app in certain areas?

At Beta phase, GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is available for pick-up in KLIA 1 & 2, KLCC area, Bangsar, KL Sentral, Damansara Heights, Mont Kiara and Hartamas. We are working on expanding this service so do keep an eye out.

Q: Are there any restrictions on drop-off areas?

No.

Q: How many passengers can I bring with me?

Each booking can accommodate up to 6 passengers.

Q: How long will the driver wait for me?

Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes.

Q: Is the fare shown on the app inclusive of tolls?

No, toll charges are not included in the fare shown on the app. Toll charges would be added on by the driver.

Q: Is there a fee if the driver has waited more than 10 minutes for me – and if yes, how much is it?

No, there is no additional fee. However, drivers are only allowed to wait for 10 minutes in order to accommodate the next booking/passenger.

Q: Can I bring pets on my ride?
Currently no pets are allowed.

Q: Will I be able to change my destination once I’ve booked my ride?
No, you are not able to change your destination once the booking has been made. If you need to change your destination, please cancel the current booking and make a new one.

Q: How early in advance am I able to book a ride?
You are able to make a booking up to 1 week in advance. 

Q: Am I able to make more than one in-advance booking?
Yes. However, your pick-up time of the additional bookings must be at least 30 minutes apart.

Q: What are the available payment methods?
For bookings made via the Grab app, cash and GrabPay are viable payment methods. For bookings made via the venue app, cash is the only viable payment method.

Q: Why is the fare of my ride from KLIA/KLIA2 higher than RM180?
The flat fare of RM180 only applies to drop off within Klang Valley. Additional charges are applied for drop off outside the Klang Valley area based on the distance.

Q. Why is the fare RM180 although the distance between my pick-up and drop-off points is shorter compared to that of the airport?
GrabCar Luxe (Vellfire for Airport) is dedicated for airport rides in Klang Valley currently. If you’re planning to travel to other destinations apart from the airport, we encourage you to try our other services such as GrabCar Premium.

Q: I’ve made an advance booking but would like to change my pick up time. How do I make changes to my booking?
To make any changes on your booking, you would need to cancel the booking and make a new one.

 

General Terms & Limitation of Liability:

Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend and/or alter any part of the whole terms and conditions in relation to this Campaign at any time without giving any prior notice to the Customers and the Customers agree to be bound by those changes.

  1. Grab’s decisions in any matter in relations to the Campaign shall be final and conclusive.
  2. Grab shall not be liable for any claims by the Customers or third-party claims or loses of any nature, including but not limited to, loss of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or for other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third-part, consequential or other damages resulting from or in connection with this Campaign.
