(Tier upgrade is only applicable towards Grab partners of tiers lower than Platinum. Partners that are already Platinum or Ultimate tiers will maintain their current tier standing.)
How to join Grab’s Alpha Program?
Interested partners can opt-in. To join Grab’s Alpha Program, selected candidates have to go through a test period. During this period, the interested partner will have to refer partners to join the platform in order to qualify to be an Alpha.
What will happen during this trial period:
- You will be notified if you are qualified for the test period
- Test period will be 30 days
- Candidates with the highest number of referrals during this test period will be added into the Alpha Group
- Candidates will NOT get access to the support channel, Alpha Referral Bonus and GrabBenefit Platinum Tier during this test period

Terms and Conditions
- You get the Basic Referral Bonus per successful referral.
- The referred partner must be activated.
- Referrals will only be counted into the total referrals when the referred partner has been activated.
- Only applicable for partners referred in your home city.
- This referral bonus is not applicable to Alpha partners.
- The selection criteria will include a combination of how long you’ve been a driver-partner with Grab, driver ratings and overall driving performance.
- Candidates with the highest number of referrals during the trial period will be added into Alpha Group.
