Grab enhances affordability across the platform to attract more consumers and boost demand for partners’ services. From Saver rides and deliveries to improved Group Orders and GrabUnlimited subscriptions, these features made everyday services more accessible—expanding user base and sustaining partner earnings.
A suite of tailored services—such as Advance Booking, Premium Rides, Priority Deliveries, and Traveller offerings are provided—to meet the evolving needs of different users. These high-value features enhance convenience, reliability, and personalisation, helping deepen consumer loyalty, expand market reach, and drive sustainable demand for partners’ services.
Data-driven enhancements were rolled out across the platform to help partners complete more jobs with less idle time, wait time, or detours.
In deliveries, features like Smart Batching, Just-in-Time Pickups, and Dynamic Order Swaps enabled faster, more efficient fulfillment—reducing delays and increasing earnings per trip.
In mobility, Auto-Adaptive Matching and Back-to-Back Job Allocation helped minimise downtime, while GrabMaps and Intelligent Routing improved ETA accuracy and shortened travel times.
Through GrabAcademy, Grab’s in-app learning platform, and collaborations with governments and organisations, Grab equips driver-partners with the skills to succeed—both on and beyond the platform.
For example, as digital transactions become the norm, Grab provided the Digital Literacy Certification Programme with Microsoft that covers key topics like online communication and content creation.
Active engagements with users and partners are conducted to shape better experiences and build trust. Through user research, pilot testing, and clear communication, Grab collaboratively builds practical solutions—like the Women Drivers’ Programme which was developed based on insights from a region-wide study with existing and non-drivers alike, identifying key barriers to entry for women in ride-hailing.
Community sessions were also hosted regularly to stay attuned to partner needs, while support is offered across channels, from GrabSupport to in-person Partner Centres and roadshows.
Grab actively engages with policymakers to co-develop solutions that address key regulatory concerns, tailoring these to local contexts, while preserving the core value propositions of gig work: flexibility and accessibility.
These collaborations span safety, upskilling, MSME growth, tourism promotion, and broader national priorities—ensuring gig work remains inclusive and viable.
Grab actively works to improve underrepresented groups' unique challenges to benefit from income opportunities through Grab.
