Grab partners with PKPU Human Initiative to distribute qurban meat parcels in Jakarta and Bogor
Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and mobile payments platform, today announced the partnership with PKPU Human Initiative, a humanitarian institution focusing on education, economy, health issues and emergency responses, enabling Grab users to donate the qurban for the upcoming Ied al-Adha with just few taps on their smartphone and distribution of qurban meat parcels through GrabExpress driver partners to the 613 families in need living in Jakarta and Bogor.
Jakarta, 30 August 2017 – Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and mobile payments platform, today announced the partnership with PKPU Human Initiative, a humanitarian institution focusing on education, economy, health issues and emergency responses, enabling Grab users to donate the qurban for the upcoming Ied al-Adha with just few taps on their smartphone and distribution of qurban meat parcels through GrabExpress driver partners to the 613 families in need living in Jakarta and Bogor.

Following the integration of GrabExpress service with Sebar Qurban Nusantara (SQN) program held annually by PKPU Human Initiative, users could register their qurban through Grab app until August 31, which has been featured since August 25. Meanwhile, a direct delivery is enabled through GrabExpress fleets in the targeted areas in Jakarta and Bogor including Tajurhalang, Jagakarsa and Kramat Jati during Ied al-Adha weekend.
