Jakarta, 22 June 2017 – In welcoming Idul Fitri, Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and mobile payments platform, strengthens a good relationship with its driver partners by conducting GrabSehat, a health seminar attended by 400 GrabCar Top Partner drivers and their families, and followed by Iftar dinner in Balai Komando Cijantung, Jakarta on 21 June 2017. Through this opportunity, Grab encourages its driver partners and their spouses to adopt a healthy lifestyle for their long-term welfare.

Ridzki Kramadibrata, Managing Director of Grab Indonesia, stated, “At Grab, our drivers are indeed our partners in running the business and they are one of key pillars of the company’s robust growth. Thus, we embrace a longstanding mission to improve not just their lives, but also their family’s as well through various aspects beyond our partnership border, reflecting our genuine care for them. We want to also focus on giving added value for them as many as possible besides ensuring profitable earning. GrabSehat is one of our initiatives bestowed for our most productive and loyal partners their spouses, which focuses on promoting healthy lifestyle.”

Driver partners who had the opportunity to participate in GrabSehat were carefully selected based on their top performance (high star rating of minimum 4.7 & high job acceptance rate of minimum 70%), fraud-free, and loyalty. During the event, participants were able to do a basic medical checkup, such as Body Mass Index (BMI) & blood tension check. Furthermore, Grab also collaborated with Prodia to present a health seminar to increase participants’ awareness towards healthy lifestyle.

GrabSehat is part of the bigger GrabSejahtera initiative that aims to build better lives for Grab’s driver partners and their families through conducting welfare programs from various aspects, such as education, health, finance, social and religious lives. These aspects are implemented in Grab’s signature programs, such as Grab Ibadah, Grab Keluarga Bahagia, Grab Sehat, Grab Pintar, Grab Top Partners and Grab Part-timer.

“Through this initiative, we hope our driver partners can have a healthier life thus enables them to enhance their performance and service quality to our passengers. Moreover, they are expected to be the role models that inspire other driver partners to achieve similar accomplishments and be our next GrabCar Top Partner,” closed Ridzki.
