The fare will never change despite of traffic. You will need to pay accordingly to what has been shown on the app when you book it.

There will be no additional cost; however, drivers have the right to reject the order if the total number of passengers is beyond the availability of the seats.

MPV & Family car

In one GRAB app, there will be 4 types of transportation you may choose GrabCar in one of options.

GrabCar has no cancellation fee; however, we suggest for you to inform the driver if there is any cancellation needed.

You can only choose 1 destination. If needed, we suggest you to order a new GrabCar after reaching your 1st destination.

The fare on the app only covers the trip; hence, excluding additional charges such as Parking Fee, Toll and etc. which the passenger is to be responsible for those extra charges.

Tariff which mentioned in the app is an estimated fare; therefore, you need to pay accordingly to the taxi meter directly to the driver.

There is no booking fee if you book through Grab app.

Yes, should any additional fees such as parking fee, toll, etc. are applicable, then they are to be charged to the passengers.

Our registered drivers are of licensed taxi drivers and they have been carefully screened, selected, and have passed a rigorous safety training.

GrabExpress is an app-based express courier service that promises speed, certainty, and most importantly safety.

GrabExpress operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.

GrabExpress can deliver documents or packets. GrabExpress does not accept delivery of crockery that is not packaged properly, food and beverages that require refrigeration or special handling, alcoholic beverages, medicines, jewelry, cash, or other objects prohibited by the laws in force in the Republic of Indonesia. Note: Not all items are covered by insurance. Go to point 6 of FAQ for insurance T&C.

GrabExpress is available in JADETABEK (Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang Selatan and kota Bekasi).

Providing the complete details of the receiver is crucial. Our bikers will contact the receiver to ensure the receiving of the packet. If the receiver cannot be contacted, then we will return the packet to the sender

Should any damage occur, you may call our customer service or email to support.id@grab.com. Please provide your booking ID and contactable phone number. For insurance purposes, any incident should be reported to our customer service within 3 x 24 hours since booking. All packets are covered by insurance up to Rp. 10 mio except several items which can not be insured:

Papers & documents, voucher, coupon, giro, cheque, antiques, fragile items, liquid and chemicals, ammunition, flammable & explosive materials, alcohol and illegal drugs, food & beverages, fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, livestocks, cash, package that is oversized or overweight to the recommended size and weight and other that is forbidden for shipping by law

There is no minimum number of packets required for GrabExpress.

Currently GrabExpress only serves packets and documents delivery.

GrabCar allowed credit card payment in their system, as confirmation passenger won’t be charged by any cash payment at drop off points. Please take a look at this link for further information.

To join GrabCar as a driver, you have to submit these documents:

  • STNK / Vehicle Identification and Registration
  • KTP / ID Card
  • SIM / Driver’s License
  • SKCK / Letter of Good Conduct produced by the police
  • max 5 years car life span (ie : 2012)
  • MPV and Family Cars are prioritised
  • For CV/PT, you will need to submit the legal documents of your CV/PT (inlcuding: Deed of Company, TDP, SIUP, NPWP – need to bring the authentic document and the copies)
  • The rental owner need to submit data such as email address (gmail), bank details of PT/CV, and number to be contacted
  • Target minimum of 50 active hours/week and 40 completed rides/week
  • 1 driver 1 phone (not allowed to be used with 2 different drivers)
  • 1 car is to be driven by 2 drivers maximum
  • Profit Sharing 80% for rental 20% for GrabCar
  • Calculation of 2.0x/100% per completed job will be counted after total amount of 80% that has been received by the rental company
  • 20% for Grab Car will be taken from the debit of the driver from every completed trip

As a GrabCar driver, you have the freedom to choose your own time of work, so you can manage between your work time and personal time

Being a GrabCar driver, you will experience the ease to maximize your own income. You are to keep in mind that you should always provide top service on every orders, making sure the passenger will give good rating/feedback, and keep the hygiene and quality of your car.

  • Before starting, driver should do a top up of Rp. 200,000 (for those who use their own phone) or Rp. 500,000 (for those who use phone from GrabCar) and will be deducted Rp. 275,000 per week (to pay HP Acer Z220).
  • Minimum requirement for the phone is Android and has minimum of RAM 1GB

At GrabCar, the safety of our drivers and passengers are key. We have partnered with AXA to cover road accidents with claims up to Rp 68 million per person

Vehicle Testing (KIR) Location:
PKB PULOGADUNG Jl. Raya Bekasi Timur No.43, KM 18,5, Pulogadung Jakarta Timur.

Vehicle Testing (KIR) Requirements:

  1. The vehicle condition must follow the STANDARDS of the Single Agent Brand manufacturers vehicle
  2. Car tires must be in a good condition
  3. No dents on vehicle body
  4. Lamp (sein, near, far) must be in good condition
  5. Car horns is functioning well
  6. Wiper is functioning well
  7. Car brakes are in a good condition.

Partners drivers who have received the Vehicle Testing (KIR) schedule, expected to attend on time. Having a Vehicle Testing (KIR) is mandatory for all drivers.

Should I register with a licensed local taxi company first?

Yes, we will only receive registrations from taxi drivers who are registered in a local taxi company.

No, as Grab is a transportation app, we do not operate our own fleet

Drivers who are registered in GrabTaxi will be charged commission of 5.5% from the lowest estimated fare on every time the driver picked a job from the app. Commission will be charged directly to the driver’s credit balance in their app.

3. Invite your employees via their work email

Once you are done, your employees can ride with Grab and link their business-tagged rides to your group!

You will also have the option to set ride policies and enable payment options (credit card) to help you manage the way your employees travel.

You can log in via www.grab.com/work with the mobile number that you registered on the Grab app and create a group with a work email address to get started!

You will need to provide the following to create a group for Grab for Work:

1 Company name, address and work email address (e.g. name@companyname.com).
2. Employee details: name and eligible work email addresses.
3. Corporate card details (optional)

Grab for Work is available in all 6 countries that Grab is operating in (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).

You can choose to set up Grab for Work groups in any country you operate from.

We have a variety of vehicle types (bikes, standard taxis, standard cars, executive cars, 6 to 13-seaters) and options for all business needs and budgets across Southeast Asia. Availability of vehicle types vary in each country. Please refer to grab.com for more information.

Download the Grab app and make bookings as per normal rides. Do remind your employees to tag their rides using their Grab for Work group tag and to choose the preferred payment method (if your company has enabled this option).

Getting Started

A group is a selection of people that can share Payment Methods and Ride Policies. You can create groups by company, cost centre, department or team.

Log in via www.grab.com/work to start a group. You will become the default Admin.

Go to the profile tab and click on edit. You can deactivate the group and delete it.

Admins can access the group’s trip history, manage group payments or set ride policy settings for the group.

You can only see ride details that are tagged to the group by your group members. You will not be able to view their personal rides.

For business continuity, it is advised to have multiple Admins in each group.

You can do so in two simple steps:

1. Add members to the group
2. Promote activated members as Admins.

They will receive an in-app notification of the promotion with no further action required.

An existing Admin will need to designate someone else as an Admin before removing him/herself.

Manage members

Click on the “Manage Members” tab. You can do an individual or bulk CSV upload. Compulsory fields include employee’s name and work email address.

We strongly advise adding a maximum of 30 members to a group for optimal search and organisational effectiveness.

Manage your members’ rides

A tag is used to categorise your members’ rides to your Grab for Work group.

There is an option to switch between personal, business and group tags in the Grab app.

Set up a group. Add members and the group tag will appear in your members’ Grab app once they have activated their accounts successfully.

Manage your members’ ride policies

You can decide how your members should travel by time and date.

You can click on the “Ride Policy” tab and customise the policy by time and date.

Your member will get an in-app notification that restricts them from making the booking unless they tag their ride as personal or use other payment methods.

Pricing & billing

Grab for Work is FREE for self-serve accounts.

Monthly direct billing is available only for companies who meet our eligibility criteria.

Grab offers competitively priced fares for all ride and fleet options to suit your budget needs.

We do not offer corporate rates at the moment but we do work with partners to offer rebates (esp for corporate card holders) and other perks!

Yes. Just click on the ‘Payments’ tab and add, edit, delete your corporate credit cards.

Yes, you can decide which member or groups can charge their rides directly to the corporate credit card.

You can share a corporate credit card with a maximum of 5 group members. Please notify your issuing bank in advance on this group payment option. Contact our sales team if you need to enable corporate card sharing for more than 5 members.

Members will see a masked credit card option with only the last 4-digits visible.

Security is our top priority and we partner with leaders in the payments industry who have the highest safety standards and adhere to global payment guidelines.

Ride Statements

Click on the ‘Rides’ tab. Choose your date range and click “Download Statement”. The statement will be emailed to your registered email.

Only Admins are able to view and download the statements for a group.

Our statements are fully compliant with audit standards and contain the following:

If you have created groups by departments, simply download statements for each group.

Yes. Statements can be auto-sent to your email inbox weekly or monthly. Enable this under the “Settings” tab.

The statements will be sent to you on the first day of every week or month.

Manage business rides

A. Categorising your ride
Tag your rides as personal, business and group in the Grab app to manage your rides.

B. Trip description field
You can choose to add trip details while you are tagging and they will be reflected on your ride statement.

C. Auto-schedule ride statements for claims
Manage the way you receive your business rides statement under Tag Management in Settings. You can add a work email, preferred credit card and enable weekly or monthly statements to be sent straight to your inbox for tagged rides.

D. Concur (optional)
If your company is on Concur, link up both apps and you can send your ride receipts directly to Concur. Check our Concur section below on how to get started!

Your colleague has added you as a member of their group. You should receive an email with a link where you can activate your account. It will redirect you to an online login page and prompt you to input the mobile number that is linked to your Grab account.

No, your company can only see the rides you have tagged as work group rides via the in-app group tag.

Download the Concur app and head to the section “Connect to Apps”. Search for Grab and click “Connect’. Download the Grab app if you haven’t done so. You will be redirected to an online login; log in with the mobile number that is linked to your Grab account.
