About: She is the most awesome dog. She is cranky until she gets to know you, which is tough because at 168 pounds, most people don't hang around long enough to get past her bark. She loves all dogs, and gets beat up at the dog park by 20 pound mini-dogs because she would never think to hurt one.
Life story: She was born, we picked her up, and the rest is history! She is getting up there in years, being an extra large breed makes her pretty old at 7, but I tell her she will live forever, and I hope she does.
Favorite story: When we take her to a river to swim, the minute she sees the water, she will take off running to get to it, and Heaven help whoever is on the other end of the leash. If you don't let go, you WILL get wet. We have to have a 100 foot leash on her while she is swimming, because she would swim until she drowned from exhaustion.
When canoers go by, she tries to "help" them, if they are wet. (Hey-it's her job!)
