Game Info
Backgammon is a classic strategy board game. The goal is to remove all 15 checkers from the board before your opponent does. This is done by first getting all of the checkers into your home board, and then removing all of your checkers according to the dice score.
- Once all checkers are in your home-board, you will start to 'bear off' or move your checkers off to your home pit.
- You will move your checkers based on the dice roll. You can choose to move 1 checker the total of both dice, or move one checker for each die.
- If you roll a double (the same number on both dice), you can move that number four separate times with any checker selected.
- You can hinder your opponent's progress by "hitting" any of their pieces that are open on the board. They must only have one checker in the stack. Further instructions on rules and playing options are included in the game by clicking "How to Play."
