Me..one of my pet hates is Shrink Wrap...
You ever tried to open a packet of Tea Bags
or such in a hurry...Grrrrhhh
Or back in those days of Video Tapes..the movie
is about to start and what have you got...yep
a tape still in its shrink wrap...wow did the
frustration level reach 11 out of 10 on that one.

Well thats 1 in the bin...Shrink Wrap

  Ok this one did it....why in the world are you NOW trying to get this OLD BOARD going again.  For WHO?  The ones who wouldn't come out of hiding before and stick up for what was right but hid and hoped someone else would do their dirty work????
   What is there to gripe about.,..and your writing this on GRAB?   You really shouldn't start a complaint board on Grab is isn't good for GRAB....this site isn't working right yet.
  And you want to regroup the 50s and 60s and why should someone put their personal gripes on here.  So the teens can get on and tear the post a part...oh yes that is fun to watch....NOT!!!
   At least ask for positive things or all you will get is something like I just wrote.  Think on it....!!!!  My NAME IS REDWITCH222 AND I AM IN THE HOUSE...CHOKE ON IT!

I am so very disappointed that you have felt it necesary to slag off a friend that simply wants to re-kindle something that he enjoyed. If you dont like it, tough, you dont have to come into Grab and read any Posts do you. I am a friend to all and I would stick up for you if you were attacked for something as stupid as this...but in this case I disagree with you and your comments.

problems or even todays...its meant to be a light
hearted complaints forum for general itty bitty
gripes in life,not folks or the sight

I think I did say to you that my reasons for
comin back here was due to the many old friends
I still have here and respect.
Whatever the failings of the site,without it
i would never have met any of them,that is one
of the good points for this site,and i wouldnt
have missed it for the world

Guess my next major complaint has to be those good old
food manufacturers.
You all know the ones,those that use all that high tech
stay fresh longer sealed foil stuff,?yep that?s them? the
ones you cant get open,without a pair of scissors or sharp
knife,?..and an obstacle course to avoid the fingers.

Then there are the goodies you take home with mouths
watering for a good munch?.only to have to fight your
way through 3 0r 4 multi wrappings.
In the end you have a morsel of food that wouldn?t fill
your mouth?but a nice pile of packaging to fill a bin bag.

They advertise all this stuff on TV
                   ?STAY FRESH LONGER?
                   ?FRESH TO YOUR TABLE?
                   ?HOME COOKED MEALS IN MINUTES?

You buy a truck load of this stuff and pat yourself on the
back for money well spent?.only to find when you get it
all home???..sell by date is tomorrow!!!!!!!  WOW!!

Recycling ...... our LA is so precise on what you can and can't put into your recycle bin - so with all that plastic wrapping Dave it isn't even a case of once you get through it you can dispose of it all in the recycle bin you have to sort what is recyclable and what is normal rubbish Grrrrrrrrr!

Once upon a time we used to have rubbish.
Now even that has the Good ,Bad and the Elite.

A class distinction in rubbish ,
We will have the Jones"s leaving theirs in plain
sight for the neighbours to drool over

We will all need bigger houses to cater for all
the various bins.

Next week im puttin out my Nuclear Waste,maybe
they can recycle that too 

And what's all this rubbish (pardon the pun!) about bins being emptied fortnightly by some LA's .....,. ooooh pongy neighbourhoods!!!   

I think we had some talk about that in UK Angie
but nothing as yet has come of it,at least not
where i am.

Over in UK we had a Refuse Collectors strike
some time ago...it wasnt a pretty sight.
In the bigger cities it piled up real high and
eventually finished up strewn across streets
and roads,until it became classed as a health
hazard.

I can sympathise with the workers in these jobs
if they feel pay and conditions should be better
but strikes never solve anything.
In the end those guys went back to a mountainous
filthy task to clear up.and catch up,and the
wages they lost would take months to recover by
the wage increases they got.
Thankfully ,today we dont have many strikes as
most disputes are dealt with through arbitration.

Still on the subject of rubbish(lol),it is an
offence over here (at least where i live) to put
out rubbish prior to the day of collection.
We used to put our rubbish out the night before
but you cant do that now...you can get a fine.

        Now that is rubbish!!

I'm in the UK Dave (Southampton) sorry by putting LA probably threw you, LA = Local Authority - I work on a daily basis with our LA hense the use of acronym, sorry!

Yikes! yes remember the bin mens strike, it all got pretty messy and pongy didn't it!

We are still allowed to put our bins out the night before here, thank goodness because our bin men come early, often before I am out of my bed.
...... it would be a case of me runing out in my nightie saying 'You've missed me, am I too late'    LOL

Oh my thats some sight for the poor old bin

We were all given one of those 3ft x2ft green
plastic bins for recycling,but they also have
such a fine line as to what you can actually put
in them...if your not sure they make perfect
large plant holders.

Another of my fave gripes,which im sure is close to many
of you are those TV viewer voting shows.
Those inane shows that take a bunch of ?C? list celebs
from soap operas and TV(at least that?s how its done in UK)
and put them into knock out and viewer voting shows,
This covers anything the TV networks can dream up,and boy
can they dream up some wonderful c**p

Weve had them Dancing?Singing?Ice Skating?Circus..
On The Farm?.On An Island?In The Jungle?and in
the Celeb Big Brother  house.
These are the ?C? list wannabes that scream out?..
      ?IM A CELEBRITY GET ME IN THERE?
Trying to grasp their last chance of 15mins of fame because
past glories have faded.
Unfortunately the winners get their 15mins and more as
they are constantly shoved in your TV face for the next
couple of month,only to just as quickly disappear again.

Take Kerry Mcfadden  (aka..Kerry Katona) winner of IM
A CELEB?..in the UK
We had Kerry on Fashion
             Kerry on cooking
             Kerry on chat shows
             Kerry on TV adverts
Now we have Kerry on bankruptcy?oh yes she was in
court yesterday and declared bankrupt..for owing tax man
over 80.000 pounds(thats about $160.000 to you Us folk)
My sympathy really goes out to her?..does it not.

Yes to me,reality TV and those,wonderful C list celebs
crying for a last feel of a cheque,are definitely in the bin

I also remember they did that Come Dancing show
on BBC,one time they had some footballers on,
well to be honest..they couldnt really do much
with their feet on the football field let alone
a dance floor,they resembled wooden planks with
shoes on.

Yes deffinitely my friend..in the bin...and keep

in office!!!!...by then wed have a world the shape of
a cube( having blown the round bits off) with 6 states.

The world would be one giant theme park..?Bushworld?
where we are all armed to the teeth,because having
taken everybody elses real estate,we only have each
other left to pop at.

Ever since he first took office and every time ive seen
him since,ive always expected Gracie Allen to appear
Also have disturbing visions of him in the bath?..

Oh yes for me this Bush has definitely burned out.

Oh I love them..I love their persistence. I love

And its not just phones, its everything from insurance
to surveys,and you think its spooky when they know
your name and number?not really,your damme phone
company is to blame for it all?selling on their lists
of subscribers.

Well now I have my solution to all this dimwit waste
of my time,with a simple courteous reply??.
