Or if only they'd do 24 hour tournaments, then no matter what time of day they can play, people will be able to play the tournaments they want to.

like I said b4..

do all tournies alphabetical order, one tourney starts each hour and goes for oh so many hours,(6?) and go down the list. if I remember right, there are 52 games, so it would be good, rotating hours through out the day too
http://i32.tinypic.com/i4omc7.jpg I like that idea! That would ensure that every game would be offered multiple times a week, and all at different times. I think that would solve EVERYONE'S problems with not being able to play the games they like, in different time zone too. Because they would be constantly rotating. If you miss one on Monday, you'll get to play on Wednesday

I think that's an excellent suggestion webby!! http://i7.tinypic.com/6f8lv2p.jpg

lol ty, it does seem like it would be a good idea, but I am sure they want to come up with an idea of their own. maybe that is why it is taking so long?

It's a good idea, but as they've only just come up with the new tournament schedule, I doubt they're going to want to make all those changes this soon after. If they do then great, but if they don't want to make major changes yet all they need to do is change the duration of them all to 24 hours until they decide to use your idea or an idea of their own.

No, either way I don't mind, I agreed it was a good idea, I just doubt that they're going to want to make major changes this soon after already changing the schedule.

It's not like it takes a lot of effort Christoff. They have to create tourneys manually, just like we do. They don't have a program that they have to reconfigure for it. Someone just needs to be willing to do it.

webby is right, if they make the tourneys a 24 hour duration, the same people will win ALL the time. And that's not fun for the rest of us.

There is  Gold Miner's Holiday Haul Deluxe tourney on Sundays. It's 60 grabbles fee.
Regular members can enter this tourney, but because it's Holiday haul DELUXE-version regular members cant play in it. Can you make this tourney free to enter.
It would nice idea to keep on deluxe version tourney every week just so regular players could see what they are missing because they are not VIP, but those tourneys should be free to enter, every week different tourney.

Free members can enter tournaments unless they have the VIP icon next to them. Most tournaments are not exclusive to VIP members so you'll be able to enter most tournaments as long as you have enough grabbles to enter (Assuming there's a fee).

This was a mistake on my part - I changed the tournament to VIP exclusive.  It is a nice idea, but definitely not something that I want to do on a weekly basis - I will attempt to include a few "special" VIP-version 24/48/72 hour tournaments in the future.

Thanks,

Michael

"Trick or Treat Smash     mon    18.00        20    4950 " So very sad that TOT got cut down to once a week. Don't know if I can go without my candy fix for that long!!!!

May I ask why GRAB should be the only one to host TOT tourneys each week?  Why not share some of your own grabbles and host a tourney.

You might consider using the "round robin" where the winner of the tourney uses at least part of the winnings to host the next tourney for others.  Certainly has put the PAULO tourneys back on the schedule after (almost) disappearing for awhile.

Others have suggested that the winner use all their winnings to host the next tourney, and then the next winner do the same.  That's good too, but I prefer the "round robin" way of hosting.

THANKS GRAB for hosting the many tourneys each week.  It is appreciated.
