The safe list was compiled at a time of misuse in tourneys by only a handful of people but which caused a lot of upset. Just because someone has not asked to be on this list does not mean they are not trustworthy enough to be invited into tourneys. This list is an ongoing project and updated nearly every day. As not everyone is aware of the list it would be very helpful if anyone reading it and wishing to be added could also tell their friends about it so that no one gets left off that enjoys playing in tourneys. People wanting to host private tourneys can use this list and feel secure knowing that no one can enter and ruin their tourneys by cheating.

HOW TO CREATE AN INVITE ONLY TOURNEY

Goto the Tourney page - Or CLICK HERE and click on the button like the one below:



You will then see the following page: CREATE TOURNAMENT



Set the parameters for your tourney using the various drop down menus.
Make sure you tick the INVITE ONLY box.

Any text entered here will appear at the side of your created tourney.

Be aware that the tourneys are run in the PST time zone, so you will need to make adjustments to compensate for your own time zone.

Once you're happy with everything click on the Green Create Tournament button.

This is the next screen you will see: INVITE PLAYERS



Enter all the players names that you wish to invite into the first box. Make sure to spell their name correctly or they will not be able to join. You can enter as many names as you wish, just make sure to separate each name with a comma.

I think the description for this box speaks for itself.

Now click on the SEND INVITATION button. You will now have created your tourney and should be viewing it. Everyone you invited to your tourney will have been sent a Grab Mail with any message and a link to the tourney.

You can also create a message board thread with details of your tourney and a link should other people want to request an invite. Please remember to follow the rules contained in the sticky on posting tourney threads.

To copy the link, click on it while viewing the tourney, it should change color. And look something like the picture below:



Now press CTRL & C on your keyboard (this will copy the link to your computers clipboard). Start your Message Board Topic, when you're ready to include the link press CTRL & V on your keyboard, you should now see the link to the tourney. Make sure you leave a space or blank line after it, or the link will not work.

If you need to invite more members at a later time then simply go back to the tourney page where you will see any tourneys that you're currently hosting, they should look something like the picture below:



Click on the name of the required tourney, it will take you to the tourney page for that game. Once there look to the left for the GAME LINKS. Click on the one at the bottom (marked in red on my picture, INVITE PLAYERS.


Just proceed as before for inviting players, making sure to send them the link for it.

Staff can also add members to this list, so send a Grab mail to Skatemodee or evosrt4_speeder if you want to be added to the original invite list.  We will update as needed.
