cant work out how those high scorers can get that far.  I played this game virtually without a pause yet still only hit 50K! whats the secret?

Stick to the one screen, get used to it, thats the best tip. Beyond that its a matter of not 'looking' but 'feeling'. The brain takes time (milliseconds its true, but still measurable) to 'see' a tile. So in looking you are taking up time....try to keep hitting those tiles!

If you have a hard time with a screen and can't make matches after a few scrambling of the tiles, move on to another layout.  Don't spend too much time looking for a match.
